        2 words ... Heavy Duty
Don't waste your time with the little ones. Just spring for the extra $20 to get these. Effortlessly cuts through locks.

        Lightweight with a big Bite!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked these up after an incident of forgotten keys made trying to get home a struggle( keys locked in the job box). I own a couple smaller (handheld) cutters from another Kompany, but those don’t do a bit of good against a hardened steel lock shank. These on the other hand, handled 1/8 and 1/4” without breaking a sweat. The handles are much lighter then traditional pivot bolt cutters, but the stress points seem to be reinforced well. I’ve only had them a month, used them 7-10 times , and gave Zero Regrets. A solid purchase at the price point!

          Bolt Cutter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bolt cuter is a nice looking tool. I feel the leverage is lacking though, I cut some farm gate panels that are about 1/8 inch diameter and it took alot of pressure to get the cut done. I made about 12 cuts on the panel and that job did not get any easier as I proceeded.

Great set of sturdy bolt cutters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having only used these once or twice, I don't have any insight into the longevity of the product, but so far they seem incredibly handy. With the compound action, they do seem easier to use than traditional bolt cutters and they it is nice being able to carry around a smaller set than having to get out and carry a set of 3' or 4' cutters. The motion is pretty smooth and the handle grips are comfortable. The adjustable screw is nice to keep you from smashing your hands together. Overall, I would say I plan on using these for many years to comne.

              Very beefy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is a beast! Really like the build quality. Was shipped in a good box. No complaints, only good things to say. See some pictures below. Was able to cut some thick wire with ease!! Still have to cut some proper chain!

                Very tough bolt cutters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With winter around the corner I needed these to shorten some tire chains, and so far they've been fantastic. They have plenty of leverage to cut even hardened steel and locks. They feel well built and should last a very long time.

The Heavyweight Champ of Bolt Cutters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 24" PowerPivot Center Cut Double Compound Action Bolt Cutter are heavy duty and built to last. These cutters cut through 3/8" with ease and with out any damage to the jaws. The tool is very comfortable to use and the double compound action make quick work of your cuts. This tool is a must need.

This is a powerful bolt cutter and is solidly built and sturdy. Itis the first bolt cutter I have used with a double compound action. It definitely allows you to exert more force with less effort. This is a very heavy duty and well-made bolt cutter. The rubber handles do not twist loose when using. It cuts very clean. This bolt cutter is made in China and it is very good quality made. If you need a small bolt cutter you can't go wrong with this one.

This is a small bolt cutter, great for cutting fence wire, but they will cut a combo lock with some extra effort (disclaimer: cutting locks may be illegal if the lock is not yours. Carrying bolt cutters around at night may also be frowned upon in your locality.) The tool seems to know it's limits, though, so the jaws don't open very wide. They seem sturdy, since the cutting surface was not marred by the lock seen in the photo below.

Fairly small cutter, but with good leverage that should allow cutting larger bolts if the jaws widened opened a bit further. The jaw opening is somewhat smaller than that of a larger cutter. On first use, it wouldn't cut thru completely, leaving bolts with a thin layer of metal that required cutting or repeated flexing to complete the cut. Not that convenient, but is easy to solve--at least for me. On the side of the handle is a small adjustment screw that sets the cut depth, and on mine it wasn't allowing the cutters to close far enough to cut thru even soft generic hardware bolts. If you do adjust this, suggest a bit of green Loctite or other threadlock to keep it from moving as it does turn rather easily. The handle has a small, not that easy to read, label of the various types of things it will cut. Not sure how well that will stand up over years of use.
