I'm glad bought this skillet 3 weeks ago to use on my smooth ceramic cook top, specifically to cook eggs and chicken. (I've heard that smooth cook tops are challenging to cook proteins on completely or without food sticking, so I chose this non-stick stainless steel skillet to solve that problem. Also, I put a lid over the skillet which sped up the cooking process while keeping food moist.) I'm happy with the way this skillet cleans up easily with a sponge (the kind of sponge designed for non-stick cookware.) I didn't use oil or cooking spray. If the eggs sometimes stick a little, when the skillet cooks a bit the residue flakes right off automatically, and regardless it's simple to remove food residue with a sponge and dish soap. I'd buy it again, and in fact also just ordered the larger size 12 inch non-stick skillet from Cuisinart!
