AnswersHard to say as Cuisinart doesn't specify the specs. Interior and exterior are stainless steel. Some review sites speculate that the inside is 18/8-ish ... and the outside 18/0 because it has to be induction compatible. Aluminum is sandwiched in between..

The set is very well made but even after following all the instructions provided the food stuck to all the pans that I tried and left a discoloration after cleaning. I returned the set.

The staining on the pots is a great disappointment. I’ve used a gas burner diffuser and cooked on medium, discoloration still forms

Beautiful pans, excellent quality, but I wish the handles weren’t so slender. It doesn’t feel like I can grip them as firmly as I would like, especially moving a hot, loaded pan. Been trying to find silicon grips to alleviate the problem but unsuccessful. Aside from that I have used them a lot and do love them. I have learned that I grew up with a lot of bad habits when it comes to cookware so moving over to stainless has been a learning experience. My big take-away: IF YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, food sticking and cleaning them if it does get stuck, is not an issue. Tips: 1: I keep a little container on the counter with a slightly oiled cloth hidden inside that I use every time before cooking. Easier and better coverage than spraying. 2: I agree with everyone, Bar Keepers Friend is miraculous!

I really enjoy cooking with this set, particularly the saute pan. However, it is so hard to keep it looking clean and shiny. The stainless dulls a lot and looks like there is food residue even when it is clean. One of my lids has dark spotted stains on the underside that I cannot get out no matter what I try. Other than the look of the cookware after using I am happy.
The best set of pots and pans ever! And no PFA !

I recently switched to stainless steel cookware because of an aluminum allergy. I love the various sizes of pots and pans. They are very heavy and durable. Need a little patience and some strategy in cleaning them by hand though. Only use a plastic bristle hand-brush, dish soap to clean, then Bar Keepers to shine and polish, removing any discoloration. Only hand wash and hand dry.
