    Product says it works best on non-porous material. I used it on shiny marble tiles and it worked great. Just takes time to get used to using the product.

    Can this be used for vinyl tiles?

    Yes! We have used it on 3 different properties with the groutable peel and stick vinyl tiles with great success. Keep in mind though, if you have a "flood" (e.g. overflowing washing machine) water can still migrate into little pin holes, or along the wall seam and get under the tiles. The great thing is, you could lift up a couple of tiles, let the floor dry, glue the tiles back down and re-grout. Oila! No noticeable damage!

    Is this okay to use in a glass block shower? How long does the shower need to dry out before using this product?

    You should be able to use this on glass block. To go over existing grout you need to remove any loose or cracking grout and also scrape out as much as you can. The new grout needs to be able to go in between the tiles otherwise it will just fall off. You can buy a cheap tool to scrape it out but be careful so you don’t scratch your tile. Before regrouting you should clean it all with vinegar and water and let it dry thoroughly before starting with the new grout.

    Will it be okay to seal the grout along with the porcelain tile?

    Fusion Pro Single Component Grout does not require sealing. However, if the surrounding tile is going to be sealed, please allow the grout to cure a full seven days prior to sealing with a water-based penetrating sealer. For further assistance please contact us at 1 800 282 8786 option 3.

    Fusion Pro Single Component Grout suitable for use in 3/16" joints. However, Fusion Pro Single Component Grout is incompatible with pebble mosaics.     Follow directions and mix well
    First and foremost, this herringbone project was time consuming and took some effort. Cut 12x12 Carrara Marble peel and stick vinyl tiles to 3x12. Arranged pattern to my liking using 1/8 leave in tile spacers (remove before grouting with vinyl peel and stick!!!!) that I cut to t and straight line pieces with a cutter. Used Fusion Pro artic white grout afterwards. This grout is different to use at first but follow directions and make sure to mix well first (my early troubles stopped after thorough mixing) and it becomes quite easy.

    Looks nice, but not incredibly to work with.
    I am glad I didn't have a larger area to do because this took quite a while. You need to work quickly but I found this so difficult to spread and fill the lines. This is my first time with pre-made grout so maybe they're all this thick and dry. I will use traditional grout next time. Overall though the results do look nice.

    I would have given this product 5 stars except for 2 reasons: (1) it's unavailable in the store in the quart size so i had to wait for the product to come in, which delayed my project and (2) one of the quarts was dried out and unusable. Luckily, it only took 1 quart to do the job. I will be returning the quart that arrived dried out, but I would have been bummed out if I had needed that second quart. The gallon size would have been way too much for my kitchen backsplash. You do need to follow the manufacturer's directions because this stuff does dry quickly. We had a 3 person team: one grouting, one wiping and one rinsing out the sponges and microfiber cloths, plus doing the inspection for any spots we missed or areas that needed touch up or a do-over. The finished product looks fabulous and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would recommend this product and would use it again since it is pretty much an apply, wipe off and you're done job...no sealing, no repeated rinsing, no haze removal! I just wish it was stocked in the store.

    Well that was my first experience with a "high-quality" grout. I would not use this product again. Between the 3 week wait to receive it (I am not even considering that as bad because it is covid time when this order was made) and the cracking it is not worth it. I wish I had kept the container to see if it was out of date or something but the trash was already picked up. I noticed the cracks 2 days later. - small cracks but obviously the grout did not bond properly and I would bet more bonds will fail with use. Yes the entire area was clean and dry. I feel ripped off since I could have just bought an entire bag of Mapei FA for less than this item.

    Easy to Use!
    I have never before installed tile, let alone touched grout. I was nervous about self mixing it, and messing up the grout color, so the fact that this comes ready to go is great! I was not aware of the difference between sanded and non sanded grout, so I chose this product because it appeared durable. Even on shiny subway tile, the sand did not scratch the finish or stain the white tile with the grey of the grout. The grey matched my cabinet paint color and looks clean and professional. If this is your first project, I suggest using this product!

    This product is not for the faint of heart if...
    This product is not for the faint of heart if you are a DIY’er. Definitely follow the instructions and make sure your sponge is moist not damp as otherwise you will be cleaning up more than needed. And a terry cloth towel is a must! I’m not a pro, but I have been laying complex tile jobs for years and believe me this one wasn’t complex. I usually use a competitive pre-mixed quartz enhanced product but this time due to covid 19 my supplier was closed. So I bought this to try it out and get my job done. The product worked and dried and resulted in a great looking job. But it was not as easy to spread or clean up. This resulted in a 45-minute job taking nearly 2-hours. Again no other complaints but read and follow all directions first for this product.

    We did part of our project well over a year ago (maybe two years ago), and this was the grout we used. When we pulled it out to finish the project, we found that the remaining grout was too dried out to use. We ordered more, a bit worried about how well it would match the last batch, but it matched perfectly. So far, we have found this grout to perform well.

    This grout was disaster!
    I still finish with apply this grout on backsplash but it’s was disaster! Maybe this grout was old or something happing with this this grout but it’s look like this grout was a little dry...what gave for me most terrible time and experience with this grout! I apply this grout on 25 sq.ft backsplash about 5 hours!!!! Just because after apply it’s dry for 2 minute, this grout was most terrible and hard for apply and for sure I never will buy again this grout! Picture of done work I will upload here too!     I recently did my shower. I used 18 x 18 tile with 1/16 grout lines. It is easy to use premixed straight out of the container. Lightly sanded so it worked on the small grout lines.Cleanup is a little more difficult than standard grout. The biggest problem is the smell. It has a very noticeable smell and it takes several weeks to go away. It has been about a month 1/2 the smell is slight but still there. The next project is the bathroom counter, I haven't decided if I will use it again.
