Least favorite brand..... Not terrible
Incredibly mid. Probably my least favorite brand of self leveling. I know it's part fault of the user for any product but this stuff isn't comparable to maqui. But I have to say dust control with this product is alot easier.
Sadly dust control is a minor inconvenience in contrast to producing poor product

Worked Great!
Remodelling and old house, bathroom floor is 3/4 out of level over a 6 foot span Yikes!
I had never used a self leveller before so I was a little apprehensive. Watched a bunch of videos, read a bunch of blog posts. Here's what I ended up doing (this is a plywood floor):
- Filled all seams and screw holes with flood patching compound (Mapei Planipatch)
- Ran a bead of spray foam around the base of the wall, heating duct, toilet connector, door sill.
- Swept and vacuumed
- Applied LevelQuik primer
- Installed metal lath stapled at 4 inch intervals with 1 inch crown staples
- Used my laser level to install screws at regular intervals to use as indicators of when I had poured enough leveller
- Poured the leveller and worked it with a floor squeegee until there was enough to cover the heads of my indicator screws.
4 hours later I had a perfectly flat, perfectly level floor to lay my tile on. Lots of work doing the prep. But I couldn't be happier with how well the installation went or with the results. When pouring we worked as a 3 person team. 2 people measuring, mixing, and carrying buckets back and forth while I poured and worked the product.
Since I had installed metal lath I poured the entire floor. The high point got just enough leveller to cover the lath. I have a feeling that the entire floor basically being a "pool" of leveller helped it level itself out more effectively. I don't know how well it would have worked if I had tried to do a "feathered" edge.
I highly recommend this product. It's not as hard as you think it might be. Follow the instructions, do the prep work and you won't be disappointed.

This stuff is great
I'm prepping the subfloor for vinyl planking in a home built in 1890. The floors are all over the place! The worst spot is in the kitchen, where there's a drop of about 1.5" toward a corner where the refrigerator goes. It's awful.
I thought about layering plywood to build it up, but that would still leave me with a sharp edge. So I tried the self-leveling compound. THANK YOU to all the reviewers who recommended 6 quarts of water to 50 lbs. of compound. It was perfect!

Good but use 6 quarts like others have said and have a bucket of water and sponge ready. I used 1 50lb bag on 65 sq ft and had 1/8 of the bucket left after spreading it 1/16 to 1/8 thick. The end of the batch is thicker than the first pour. It also hardens a bit. It sets way faster than you think so you have to work fast. If the end is chunky and spreads poorly then simply just get it on the floor and use the sponge with water to lightly go over it and it will even out and look smooth.

Really Impressed
I'm really pleased with the results from this. We're re-tiling a guest bath that was originally tiled in the 1950s, and demo left the base very uneven. I watched a few videos before undertaking pouring this and everything went pretty smoothly. You do have to help spread it around but then it levels some on its own. One bag was the perfect amount for our space.

Follow directions!
Spend most of the project with prep. I'm a young small female working alone and I had a perfect result 1st try. About 50 square feet, 6 bags. Clean the floor real good, apply the primer and allow it to dry, spray foam around perimeter to keep it contained. Have multiple mixing buckets with the measured amount of water already in them and spare water buckets with the right amount of water ready for the next mix if you don't have enough 5gal mixing buckets. Mix one bag at a time. Mix and pour fast

Works great, 1st time user!
First try was with concrete patch. Cracked and could not get level. Read a lot of reviews and bought this. It was easy to mix and pour. I
poured where I wanted it so I did not have to spread, it leveled it's self. TIP: use the tips. Spend the money on the prep and it's 6 quarts of water to the 50 lb bag. I only needed half. I got a plastic cup, a bucket and bathroom scales. 3 quarts of water in bucket. Mixed product a few cups at a time until close to half a bag was used. Weighed the bag, added mix, weighed bag, added mix. Did this until bag weighed 25 lbs. This worked great and it's the first time I used it.

Easy to Apply & Excellent Finish
I did the pour on my own & with no special tools & just one 5 gal bucket & it came out perfect!
My advice is spend time reading through these reviews for many handy tips. If working on your own, prepare all your water first (6 qts per bag).
