          Good bonding agent
Used this primer to repair a water damaged shower. It bounds well on wood, Hardie-backer, thin-set and porous concrete. Highly recommended!

I've used this product for years on over a thousand different tile showers that I have built. It's a very strong product you can use it on any service. But if you want to seal your shower walls this is the way to go. It works just as good as Red guard. In fact I like it better

            Stick and then peel!
Decided to go with this primer for a tile over tile shower installation. I cleaned the surface as per the instructions and then used a drill with a paddle mixer attachment to mix the primer. I then rolled it on and let it sit for a few days. On the day of tile installation, I mistakenly scratched the primed tile with a 5 in 1 tool and noticed it came off right away. Seeing this, I began to worry and then used my fingernail and it came off with no problem at all! I added another coat and let dry for 24 hours. This coat was a bit thicker and is now adhering to the tile, however I can still pick it off with my fingernail. I have now put on a THIRD coat in hopes that this will work. I can only imagine the tile sliding off the wall after installation due to poor primer adhesion. This product appears to have great reviews on HD, so perhaps it was user error or a bad batch. I will update with results if the third coat appears to work. Mapei has a similar product that is highly rated as well.

Doing a bathroom renovation with an existing full mud tile floor in great shape, structurally. Didn't want to rip out a perfect substrate and my research led me to this product and so used it. Goes on a little like watery paint and dries in a little over an hour. This stuff adhered to the surface of the existing tile very well and dries to a texture similar to 80 grit sandpaper. Should give the thinset a great surface to bond to.

This blue goo covered up some old black mastic and created a surface that was good for a new floor. Super easy to spread around with a roller.

Used this product for tile over tile application in shower and Jacuzzi tub surround. 1 coat dries quickly within 1 hour using roller and brush and mixed with a paint stick for a few minutes. Dries like a heavy grit sandpaper. Saved a lot of time with no demolition. Highly recommend.
