Q:New tile backsplash in my kitchen. I have granite countertops. Around the sink, especially in the area behind the sink, there is moisture. The previous white grout got mold on it which couldn't come out. Using charcoal. Is this appropriate caulk?

Worked really well
I decided to use this around my fireplace after installing LVP because i didn't really like any of the trim choices. I'm pretty happy with the way it looks and evened out a few slight cutting mistakes. My only complaint was that it first came out very watery. So much so that i had to get paper towels to clean it up. After a little bit, it was thicker and went on easily

Quality Product, Inaccurate Color Descriptions
Great product however the color swatches shown are inaccurate. The tone of the color is right however all of the colors are 2-3 shades lighter than shown. I had to buy and test multiple colors to find the right one to use. Please fix this! (see example - Oyster grey image attached)

Great match to my grout
Initially, i was gonna try to get something that was close to my grout color, but decided to spend a couple exta $$ to get an exact match. Im glad i did. My wife says it looks great!

Not a great color match
I used "charcoal" sanded grout with "charcoal" Prism grout (both made by Custom) and as the picture shows, the match was poor. Might be less noticeable on seams, but poor for filling gaps in grout. I had better luck with Natural Gray sanded grout/Polyblend, which was almost a perfect match, so it may vary by color.

Installed large tile with 1/8” grout lines. Used this in the corners and ceiling of shower, on the tile baseboard, the shower niches inside corners, and the Vanity backsplash. Matches well with fusion grout.

DO NOT USE IN SHOWER OR TUB
my father purchased this product. this product has had to be replaced 3 times. on the label it says good for tubs and showers farther down it says do not use where near constant water occurs... as a former home depot associate I'm appalled we care such poor quality product

The color on the tube is not even close to the product color!
The color shown on the tube is nowhere close to the color inside the tube. Huge waste of time and money. Look elsewhere.
