Prism Ultimate Performance Grout sets a new standard in cement based grout technology. Prism's calcium Aluminate cement based formula offers consistent color with no shading regardless of tile type, temperature or humidity. And it will not effloresce. The rapid setting formula results in high early strength and dense joints for the highest stain resistance in grout joints up to 1/2". A unique blend of lightweight recycled glass and fine aggregate sand allows for a smooth consistency that is easy to spread and clean.

Charcoal color is beautiful
The charcoal grout is a beautiful dark color almost black. But it must be sealed! We wiped and wiped and it comes off on a rag. Sealing it did the trick! Do not use vinegar and water to clean the tile and grout because it will turn light gray!

Prism Grout
Like other reviewers have stated, the color dries lighter than comparison samples.
It filled sm (1/16") and lg gaps (1/4") nicely and the color, tho lighter, is consistent thru out.
When dry, the hardness, seems good. Time will tell for durability.

Exactly what we needed!
Installer specifically requested his preference for this cement grout. The charcoal color gives a natural shadow appearance between tiled "wood planks". The tile is Ardennes Cafe.

Great DIY product, easy to follow step by step directions and consistent color. For reviews of inconsistent color...it gets darker when wet...just like when your sidewalk gets darker when wet, its not a defect. (see image-right side is wet)

Check the color sample IN STORE
I used this grout for the first time and my color was so off from what the box showed. I reached out to Custom and they advised the color on the box is NOT what you will get when the grout is installed. Check the color sample in the store! Exact Match

Disappointed
We had a project to finally do out bathroom and decided to go with PRISM based on the fact that it is advertised as a high performance grout that doesn't require sealing. We followed the instructions and mixed the grout using the exact amount of water specified in the instructions. However, the next day I tested the grout just by scratching it with my finger nail and the grout turned to powder. We realize the shower would have failed, so we had to spend hours removing the PRISM grout. In the process out entire house was full with dust. Be aware!!!!!! Do not buy, you will regret it!!!!!!!

This is not taupe in any sense - it is...
This is not taupe in any sense - it is a winter White.
Showing dirt or stain within 2 weeks. Was so hoping for this to be a lite taupe.

Wrong Color - Go at least 2 shades darker than color shown.
I bought Platinum for the floor tile. It was the exact color I wanted while wet. Once it dried it appeared white. I had planned to use it on the wall color but decided to get Delorean Gray since it was darker in hopes it would be closer to the color I wanted. I was sadly disappointed when it dried to a 1/2 shade darker than the Platinum - both appear to be white or a hazy LIGHT gray. I mixed to the exact water/grout ratio. I applied as directed. Not sure why or how this happened but will have to learn to like the look. The darker color in the pic is after I had wiped and wet the dry grout (Delorean) and the white grout is the dry. SO disappointed.
