SimpleSealer #165 Delorean Gray 1 qt. Premixed Sealer

My daughter was pregnant so needed a low odor grout sealer to use on her shower. Product works well and is very easy to apply.

Followed the instructions and applied multiple coats to my basalt tile before grouting. Grout still got into the tile, leaving light specks on what should have been a solid dark gray tile. No amount of scrubbing was able to get it off. Contacted company to confirm the sealer is good for basalt, and they said it would work. Maybe the sealer works as intended for other tiles, but it ruined mine.

This product does not seal the grout. We have new porcelain tile floor and premium grout which is prudent to seal especially in the kitchen. Purchased the 24 Oz. and the 6 Oz. container with the brush applicator. Applied the "sealer" to clean dry grout and waited a day until it was thoroughly dry. Tested the seal using a few drops of water and the grout immediately soaked the water. Applied the sealer two more times over a week's time, letting it thoroughly dry and still it did not seal the grout. This water-based sealer is almost the consistency of water, drys clear but did not seal the grout. See attached pictures. Not only a waste of money but some five hours of labor to move furniture, clean the floor, and apply the sealer three times. I do not recommend this product.

applied 3 coats, still not sure if it need a few more. had to coat tile before installing made it a lot easier to grout.

I love the ease of use and that it is water based, i used it to seal a bridge for my bearded dragon that i covered in poly blend sanded grout. It is also easily colored to add staining if desired.

Felt it was pricey but refilled my smaller bottle well. Easy to apply using the smaller bottle with brush.

This product does not perform as advertised. It does not seal the grout and allows water to seep into the grout lines. Please stop selling this product as a sealer because it does not seal. Applied 3 substantial coats with 3 hours in between and the next day the water would not bead up. Waste of time and money.

2 coats on grout lines, newly installed ceramic tile floors. Will not bead at all, water drops still penetrate, grout still changes color. experienced contractor with 20 years, never had this bad of results.

Super easy to apply, and made clean up on a Saltillo tile job a lot easier.

I bought this products and waste my monny it turn my tiles white the next day. I call the company on the back of the product and wont give me may monny back.
