                  Waste of Money!!!
This is the WORST mortar EVER!!! It was clumpy about half way down in the bucket. Extremely difficult to spread on the cement board. I am wondering if it was stored outside and froze. I will never buy it again and will mix my own. Do not buy this! It was a waste of money!!! I am having multiple tiles that did not even stick.

                    Worst product ever used
Bought 10 buckets of this to lay tile in my new kitchen. Waited almost 2 weeks to move appliances in after it was laid and grouted by contractor. The tile started breaking under the weight of the refrigerator because the thin set was still not dry. $700 worth of tile and $750 worth of adhesive wasted. My entire kitchen floor has to be taken back up and replaced. Home Depot will not refund money on this product.

                      DO NOT USE!!
For my entire professional life I’ve always mixed my own thinset. For some reason on this 8’x10’ bathroom tile floor job I thought it would be easier to just buy the premixed stuff. Concrete slab floor. Thinset. Decoupling membrane. Thinset. Tile. Let set for 7 days, 62-65 degrees, <50% RH. Stepped in to start grouting and the tiles are sinking into the Thinset… evidently not cured yet!! If I could sue to have Home Depot come out and replace the floor, I would.

I have read other reviews on this particular type of motor for tiles specifically and it was interesting to see that other people did not think of it as highly as I did. This is all I’ve ever been using. And I have always thought if only the Egyptian’s have these kind of building materials, the pyramids made with been built differently After 3 to 4 days, this material dries as hard as stone. It would be extremely difficult, if not impossible to remove the tile from the wall. Basically, this is what you want. I will continue to use the premixed insect until I find something better. Which I am not counting on.

                        Cement Hardie-Backer and porcelain
We used this product on cement board screwed to wood sub-floor. When laying porcelain tile with the pre-mixed thin set mortar a few of the tiles didn’t stick. However, the mortar did adhere to the Hardie cement board just fine as noted when reapplying the loose tiles. Most importantly, you have the have a well ventilated room and give the mortar the suggested 72 hours and you should be fine.

                          Don't buy product
Product does not dry after sitting for more than 7 days. I wasted more than $800 in material and now all had to be removed and thrown in the trash. Avoid the product, waste of time and money spend, it does not work.

The drying time is extremely too long. It takes a couple of weeks to dry installing floor porcelain tiles.

                            Works well, but very pricey
I bought three buckets of the pre-mix for the convenience. I don't know if people with negative reviews are laying the tile on improper substrates, but 12 hrs later and it is walkable. In a day or so I will grout but it worked as expected on hardie board.
