Q:I just installed a backsplash that is made of a lot of small marble tiles, with about a 1/4” gap between each one, and about to apply this before I grout. Should I make sure to get the sealant inside all the gaps or just the surface of the tiles?

Stone/grout shower floor with stubborn stains on the grout. I used a grout & tile cleaner, then applied 2 coats of this sealer about 3 hours apart. It worked great and looks good (in that you really can't tell there is any sealer on the floor). Stains have not returned.

Several weeks after applying 3 coats to our kitchen tile I have had no grout discoloration & it has repelled water, grease, pasta sauce & others. It has not stained even after pasta sauce. Very glad I purchased this.

I can not really recommend, or not recommend, a product that is supposed to last years after only...
I can not really recommend, or not recommend, a product that is supposed to last years after only a few days. But here goes. it goes on like water. It dries clear. It did not leave an oily residue. I have a LOT left over after two coats; enough to recoat some other tile jobs in my house. The plastic can did not leak. Instructions were clear.
What else can I say? Ask me again in a year or so.

I am not going to down grade this product because I don't know how well it works. See below.
I applied it to a new grouted glass-tile backsplash according to the directions. It was easy and cleanup was not a problem. I applied 2 generous coats (with drying time in between) to about 30 square feet. There is a little less than a quarter of a bottle left.
Because I have not tossed wine or tomato sauce at the backsplash to test it, I don't know how well it works. If I am tremendously lucky, I will never find out. That said, the first coat did seem to soak into the grout, while the second coat was more visible on the surface. This suggests that it sealed the grout as intended.
I did worry that the overspray on painted drywall would require a touch up. I was careful, but did not mask the areas. The slight overspray disappeared as the sealant dried. No re-paint has been necessary.
