Stone/grout shower floor with stubborn stains on the grout. I used a grout & tile cleaner, then applied 2 coats of this sealer about 3 hours apart. It worked great and looks good (in that you really can't tell there is any sealer on the floor). Stains have not returned.

No other brand to compare to it. Applied easily. Time will tell if it is effective.

I can not really recommend, or not recommend, a product that is supposed to last years after only a few days. But here goes. it goes on like water. It dries clear. It did not leave an oily residue. I have a LOT left over after two coats; enough to recoat some other tile jobs in my house. The plastic can did not leak. Instructions were clear. What else can I say? Ask me again in a year or so.

Ridiculously expensive at $45/gal and doesn't install much confidence as it comes out with the look and viscosity of water...but spray it on with an HVLP gun instead of the brush they recommend, put two coats on, and it actually beads water while leaving the look of the tile and grout totally unchanged. I used two gallons on my pool glass tile job using Polyblend grout and stains now just don't stick anymore.

Don't waste your money if you are planning on using this on unsealed saltillo tiles. I wasted so much money on this product and it does not work. I'm so mad. I called them and they were not helpful. They were boarder line rude and refused to help me or offer any solutions. I applied four coats and it does not protect the tiles. Very disappointed.

I wasn't thinking clearly when I bought and drove home with this $100 gallon jug of sealer. I was in a rush to seal the grout on a newly installed tile floor. After the cashier rang up the purchase, I turned to a Home Depot associate and asked him to remove the security seal. His response was to say that was for the consumer to do. The first indication of problems was leaking of the solution out of the cap and security seal in the trunk of my car when I arrived home. I removed the security seal, unscrewed the child proof cap and found that the tamper evident foil seal had been opened in a star pattern. In retrospect, I should have opened the jug as soon as I had purchased it. When applying, the odor seemed to be chlorine bleach heavy. Stupid me in a rush, I applied it anyway and the grout color varies from the tobacco color it should be to a very pale tan. I was pooched by my own haste. My theory is that someone purchased the product, cleverly defeated the security seal, used a portion and back-filled it with a solution, possibly household bleach and returned it to get their $100 back.

This stuff is horrible, don't use it
We followed the instructions. We put this on with a brush and wiped up the excess. As it dried it turned our dark brown grout white. I contacted the manufacture Custom Building Products and they said to scrub the grout with baking soda and water and it would remove the residue and not hurt the sealer. REALLY! They expect me to scrub the grout lines on 1900 square feet of tile????

      Ruined my dark brown grout!
I have a dark brown grout. This sealer turned the grout grayish white. The grout is ruined and looks bad. Unfortunately for me I did over 500 sq feet before I notice the problem. For the other rooms I used a spray sealer and the grout stayed dark brown. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON DARK GROUT! You have been warned.
