Hello, use the roller and or brush and only put on in thin coats and spread it during application. If you get any pooling then it is being applied too thickly.

Hello, yes, you can achieve a smooth finish with this product the key is in the duration of sanding you perform and also the ability to switch between different grades of sand paper. Obtain additional grits from your local hardware store. Feel the surface after sanding and continue until desired smoothness effect is achieved.
Does anyone know how to keep the water spots from discoloring the volcanic black? I put at least 6 coats of the poly on it and still have them.
Hello, It appears that you may have trapped moisture within the layers of the sealer. Normally 2 or 3 coats is what is recommended and you have gone far beyond the limit of the application directions.

Hello, this product would be a permanent finish for your countertop. It will not peel, crack or wear off. Your only maintenance would consist of a resealing of the clear coat every 2-3 years.
I currently have 12x12 marble tile on my kitchen island .. would this product work and give a smooth finish without the grout lines
Good day. If you want to eliminate the grout lines and have a level surface then you will need to use a leveler like our rockpatch product. Sand the tile to scuff, clean well, apply the rockpatch with a squeegee or straight edge and let it dry. You can then apply the countertop kit over the rockpatch.
