Product Details

Protect your drain from becoming clogged with the Danco 1-9/16 in. Basket Strainer with Post in Chrome. It prevents unwanted debris and foreign objects from slipping down the drain while still allowing water to flow freely. It can be easily removed when needed and is easy to clean by simply rinsing thoroughly in the sink. Perfect for most sink types, this sink strainer has a stainless steel construction that has a corrosion/rust resistance chrome. There is no need for tools or extra work for installation, simply place the strainer in drain and begin running water!

A:  Thank you for your interest in Danco products. the 1-7/8' is the measurement across the top. The bottom is 1-1/2'.

          Strainer worked very well. Installed to replace larger strainer that keep clogging because it would not allow liquid to pass through food. This smaller strainer is a great alternative to just allowing food the go to garbage disposal and create a bigger issue. I would recommend this strainer if anyone is having related problems like I was having with the larger strainer.
