do not know, but I have never seen one in polished brass. You might find the complete assembly in polished brass including the sink strainer as part of the assembly, but the one shown here I have never seen in anything color except what is shown
This small strainer does a big job. It fits great into typical porcelain sinks as well in standard kitchen sinks. Its easy to clean by removing and back flushing or by a air hose. For bathroom sinks with pull drain plug you can place the strainer inverted and it will still function to prevent hair and particles from washing down the drain. Its a good quality mesh will last for typical home applications
My plan for this item was to catch lint in my laundry sink. Unfortunately, the holes were too small for this and the strainer became clogged with a mixture of lint and fabric softener. I do use the same style in a larger version for my kitchen sink which works wonders. So this particular type of strainer is great for larger pieces, but not for the laundry. It does however fit perfectly in the drain without shifting or coming off.
Pros: Easy to Install, No Leaks, Reliable

This is a simple screen for a smaller drain opening. Though it is described as a lavatory drain screen, I use it for my my bathtub drain that has no screen cover on it. It fits perfectly on my tub drain and helps protect me from anything falling into a previously unscreened drain hole. It also catches any hairs and towel lint that may fall down into the drain.
Pros: Easy to Install

I really needed this for our utility sink in the laundry room. This fits and looks great. I am very happy with it initially but nowhere on the card does it say what it is made out of. Hopefully it will last a long time but in the past these have rusted and I would be happier if I knew this was stainless steel or rust resistant.
For now it's a thumbs up.
Pros: Easy to Install, looks like it will do the job
Cons: not sure if it's rust resistant

So I ordered this product thinking that I was ordering the Kitchen Mesh Strainer, only to receive it and realize it was for the bathroom sink. I failed to see Bathroom Sink Strainer in the title. That was a bit disappointed because I REALLY needed a kitchen strainer. However what I can say about it is, if I needed a bathroom strainer this would definitely do the job. The quality is good and durable.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the product title wasn't clear enough to explain the location of where this strainer fits. Normally a lavatory strainer pertains to a bathroom sink but we can understand that could be confusing. We normally don't have control over the product titles, but we will work with Home Depot to see if we can get Bathroom Sink in the title so this strainer can be understood better. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for any inconvenience this caused.
This mesh sink strainer works as described. This sink was constantly getting clogged up with hair and other debris. I removed the stopper which contributed to the problem, but it made the sink unattractive and left an open hole for anything to fall in. The strainer fixes all of this. The sink not only looks better and stays free of hair and other debris, but I don't have to worry about a ring or earring falling into the P-trap. Yeah, that's happened one or twice as well..
Pros: Easy to Install, Reliable

I wanted a drain plug that would actually DRAIN. The draining can't keep up with a faucet running. So if you are brushing your teeth you end up with the basin filling with slimy water. Yech. My hubby is going to try to drill the holes larger.
