THE DANCO CARTRIDGE IS VERY WELL MADE, STURDY, SEEMS VERY DURABLE, FEELS LIKE HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS HAVE BEEN USED. HEAVY METAL PLATE ON THE BOTTOM. APPEARS TO BE OF BETTER QUALITY THAN COMMONLY FOUND WITH DANCO PRODUCTS.
I RECEIVED THIS ITEM FREE OF CHARGE IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST NEUTRAL PRODUCT REVIEW. THE ITEM STATES FOR TUB/SHOWERS PRIOR TO 2006, WHICH MINE IS BEFORE 2006, BUT UNFORTUNATELY, IT DOES NOT FIT. THIS ONE IS RATHER LARGE. IT IS TOO BIG FOR MY NEEDS SO UNFORTUNATELY I CAN’T COMMENT ON INSTALLATION OR PERFORMANCE. AFTER RECEIVING THIS ITEM AND SEEING THE QUALITY OF THE ITEM, I WOULD NOT HESITATE IN BUYING THE CORRECT SIZE.
ALL HARDWARE IS INCLUDED. GOOD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. MADE IN TAIWAN.

This cartridge is for the Delta Monitor 1500/1700 series faucets. Each brand of faucet is unique...
This cartridge is for the Delta Monitor 1500/1700 series faucets. Each brand of faucet is unique, so a Delta cartridge won't fit in a Moen valve, but each brand has different designs and each of those designs is proprietary and unique as well. This cartridge will only work in the one style of faucet.
The cartridge is easily pulled out with the removal of the handle and bonnet nut, then it all goes back together and you turn the water back on and it's all set!
The package includes seats and washers!

Selected this DANCO CARTRIDGE FOR DELTA 1500/1700 SERIES TUB/SHOWER FAUCETS as a replacement cartridge for an existing tub and shower that has been neglected and now does not allow hot water to flow out making it a very uncomfortable shower in the morning.This cartridge compliments the requirements to fit 1500/1700 series Delta single handle shower kits. Glad it was available and very happy with my choice overall.
