Premium Sink Side Spray Hose

The included gray Quick Connect (QC) adapter is too long and you will never hear the comforting click when you stick it into your faucets valve. No seal is produced, so enjoy your ultra short shower when testing it. I ended up buying Moen's Universal Side Sprayer locally at the competing store. FYI, Moen sells kit #168665 that converts the faucet's QC valve to a female 3/8in compression one. Sick of Moen sprayer troubles? Plug your faucet's QC valve with Moen's #143530 plug. Stay dry, friends.

The back of the packaging claims that it has an adapter for Moen faucets, which for many years now have used a propriety "Quick Connect" adapter. The Danco adapters look quite similar, but there are slight differences in the dimensions. This goes for the adapter on both the spray nozzle and faucet side. See the three pictures. Because of the this, water will leak or spay out both ends. I contacted Moen for a free OEM replacement part under warranty instead, but had to pay for express shipping.

This worked great for me, the best part was I did not have to use any of the included adapters as its end fit on the bottom of my older faucet perfect and the end where my old side sprayer connects too, works perfect as well. I had no issues at all using, or installing this and it is so much better then my old hose that is all kinked up. This hose does not kink up like my old hose was, that never straightened out. Vary odd though This Danco hose does not work with their Danco side sprayer I had gotten to use with it, which is why I put on my old side sprayer.

I bought this for my American Standard faucet but something should have clicked to me when I notice that the last two of these in the store were opened/returned. First off, after following the instruction to the “T” I STILL had a leak coming from the adapter. I wish I could post the video on here but I will attach a screenshot of the video showing the leak. Another reason why NOT to get this, someone commented that this product may cause cancer and birth defects! I guess since mine was open the previous owner did not put that label back in the package h/e you can scroll through the reviews to see the post about it containing cancerous chemicals.

I purchased this to use with the Danco Side Spray (Model # 10335) and man was it tough to assemble. The O-ring provided makes for an incredibly tight fit which I fear may be the cause of all these leakage issues I read in reviews (I have not tested it yet for reasons below). There were no instructions to use a different o-ring for specific sprayers, so I muscled the fitting through the sprayer nut. After more difficulty, I was able to get the e-clip into the slot then the plastic washer and topped it all with the rubber seal snug into the top groove. Now for the reason I removed 1 star: The threaded end is NOT 1/4". I purchased a 3/8" - 1/4" adapter based on the item description AND seller's comment replies stating it is a 1/4" threaded end. If you look at the images, I have compared it to the 1/4" end, the 3/8" end, and the quick connect piece that came with the kit (which does fit properly). Now I have to hunt down an appropriate coupler. Will update if leaks do occur.

The material that the hose is wrapped in that makes it "No kink" is not smooth. When you lift the sprayer, it make a lot of noise as the ruff texture rubs on the side of the spray mount. My last hose never kinked up but when the spray handle broke, I bought a Danco replacement sprayer. I'm not sure if Danco knows what universal means but I had to buy the Danco hose because the Danco universal sprayer would not fit my existing hose. The Danco hose does work fine but is very noisy.

Cancer warning ... and birth defects!?!? I just purchased this product so I could replace a leaking spray hose in my kitchen. Within the product packaging there is a small plastic bag that contains all of the adapters to be used depending on the brand of your sink sprayer. When I opened this small package there was a note inside of it that says, "WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." This product is used for drinking water and it is KNOWN to cause CANCER!?!?! How is this legal? It is definitely not ethical. I am returning this product to the store tomorrow and will be mentioning this to customer service.
