I have had Delta one-handle tub faucets for 30 years, the same ones, original, installed when I built my house. I keep these seats and springs on my shelf at all times. Every so often the rubber rings wear out as expected and will cause a leak, but no big deal. I am a 65 year old female and I can easily take apart the handle, remove the old seats and springs and pop new ones in. These are good quality. I always buy them at Home Depot too! The Danco brand is comparable to the Delta ones, work just as well, and cost less.

These seats and springs are for Delta and Peerless faucets. The seats are made from rubber, not what those cheap sets are made of. I have installed a many of these seats and springs over the years. I will share easy installation of both. Use a standard lead pencil and on the tip ( lead end ) place the seat and the spring on the tip. Support the two with your fingers and slowly drop into openings. The springs will fall into place but the seats have to the coached in. Using a very small screwdriver, gently push on the side of rubber seat on the area that it will not enter and this will enable the seat to set in place. The seats are both compatible with hot and cold.

These fit our Delta faucet perfectly. It was easy to disassemble, replace the seats and springs, and reassemble the faucet. We plan to get some extra sets for our other faucets just to have them on-hand for future leaks. They are sturdy, yet flexible. Probably will last quite awhile. They may fit other faucets as well, but I would check them out first before trying that.

My house was built in 1953 and I have owned it since 1989. The small upstairs bathroom still has the Delta faucets that the original owner installed in the 1960's-early 70's, so I was thrilled to find these replacement seats and springs at a very reasonable price. It took less than 30 minutes to turn off the water, remove the old seats and springs and get back in business. No muss, no fuss and most importantly no leaks. They worked great. I definitely would recommend these if you have old Delta faucets in your home.

SEATS AND SPRINGS FOR DELTA are made by Danco. Parts come in a blister package. The springs are metal and the seats are rubber. Very easy to install by following faucet installation information. Springs and seats do last along time. Be careful not to drop these tiny parts down your drain by placing a washcloth over the drain opening. Highly recommend the Danco springs and seats.

Sooner or later, every faucet will need to have the rubber washers replaced. I was a little overdue on the kitchen faucet and it was continuing to drip. The Delta replacement was quick and easy, and can be installed by anyone. No DIY or Professional required. Shut off the water beneath the faucet and open it to release any pressure. Used the hex wrench provided to loosen the head and take it apart one piece at a time. For non-DIY persons, simply lay out the pieces in the order removed. Install the new springs and rubber washers in the reverse order, place head back on and tighten with hex wrench. Done! Turn water back on underneath sink and you are ready to go for several more years........
