Silver clips & screw's worked perfectly on my cast iron...
Silver clips & screw's worked perfectly on my cast iron sink. Cost efficient not pricey. Could not use the j-clips. Kit should have same kind of clips not a combo. Manufacturer should offer two different kits with matching clips. Feel like I paid extra for j-clips not needed nor compatible for my sink type.

They work, but they’re small
The J clips are about as small as they can possibly be to still work, and if you have larger hands or fingers, it may be even harder to get them set to mount. However, they do work but you also might need to reduce the thickness of your plumbers putty bead around the perimeter of the sink to assist with getting the clip to grip for tightening

The bolt would not thread into and through the clip...
The bolt would not thread into and through the clip without excessive torque, which opened the screw slot on the end of the bolt. The clip was "open" too much to clamp to hold the sink for those I was able to thread; I did not want to "squeeze" the clamp for fear of snapping it. I returned them and bought a bag good clips at a plumbing supply house.

Worked beautifully. The counter was an inch thick. If it was 2 inches thick then they would not have worked, so make sure and measure. These clips were easy to install. 4 clips tends to be sufficient but I’d prefer 6 if your sink is large.
