Spout O-Ring for Delta Faucets (4-Pack)
Masco Corporation is a manufacturing conglomerate comprising of more than 20 companies, of which Delta and Danco are part. This package of 4 -rings was designed to fit "most" Delta kitchen faucets. I notice two of the rubber rings are very slightly thicker in each package. No explanation is provided. Unless you are experienced in plumbing o-rings and their sizes, they are a mystery, and it seems trial and error abound in the business of stopping leaks. This package worked for me, but l have had problems in the past, trying to find the right fit.
I also found the California Prop. 65 warning on the back of this package, curiously this warning is popping up all over the place on a huge amount of products. For clarity I went to:

still found it hard to decipher. After a day of trying to find the facts, I found the following confusing me more at the state website:
Since the original warning requirements took effect in 1988, most Proposition 65 warnings simply state that a chemical is present that causes cancer or reproductive harm, but they do not identify the chemical or provide specific information about how a person may be exposed or ways to reduce or eliminate exposure to it.
At the Danco.com website I found more to confuse me, it states:
Nowhere are we stating that these products are not safe or poses any health concerns, but are simply providing a warning to comply with the California state regulations. These chemicals are commonly present among a wide variety of consumer products used every day.
That was about when I gave up and was just happy the drip, drip, was over!

Febco 765BFP 1/2-3/4 Bonnet Substitute
Can be used to replace the bonnet o-ring of the Febco 765 Back-flow check-valve at a fraction of the cost.
Smaller thickness for 3/4", Larger for 1/2"
Says self lubricating, but you saved so much money compared to the complete rebuild, spring for a small tube of silicon grease.

These O-rings are very flexible and my job easy when I had to replace the worn out ones. Plenty of other rings I have used in the past have been very stiff and made it difficult to position it in the right place.

I decided to use these as a preventative measure versus to fix an active leak. They were easy to install and seem to be of good quality. I think having these from the beginning and being proactive is the way to go and they are easy and inexpensive enough to be worth it! When you already have the faucet apart or installing a new one, it just makes sense to add these to the project!
