Replace worn tank-to-bowl bolts and gaskets with this DANCO kit, it is complete and ready to go. It includes durable tank bolts and a sponge rubber spud gasket. Installing new parts will keep the toilet tank solidly attached and prevent leaks between the tank and the bowl.

Q:Will this fit a Eljer Titan toilet model #141-0777. The eljer part # is 495-5677-00

A:  Thank you for your interest in Danco products. Unfortunately, we were unable to find specifications indicating the dimensions of the Eljer Titan 141-0777 tank to bowl gasket part# 495-5677-00, so we cannot say with certainty whether or not this would work. The dimensions for 88359, the spud gasket is approximately 3 1/8" O.D, 2 3/16" I.D and 7/16" thick. The bolts size 5/16in x3 -1/4 in.

      A:  Thank you for your interest in Danco products and your inquiry. Generally, if you are experiencing a leak from the tank to the bowl, it would not be a result of the tank to bowl kits or the spud gasket. If it were the bolts, it would generally leak onto the floor below the tank from that area. The leak you are describing is most likely to do with the flush valve assembly. It could be the gasket that is in between the bottom of the tank and the flush valve passage way, and/or could be a cracked overflow tube. Shut the water supply to the toilet over night. Then next morning check the water level. Where the water level is inside of the tank would/could give you a better idea of where the area of the leak is occurring.

        A:  I had a small trickle develop between the tank and bowl at the back on the exterior.. The top of the tank was tilting towards the wall so I suspected that the seal was going bad. When I removed the tank, I was correct. Replaced the seal and hasn't leaked since.This a simple and quick fix.
