Plastering is a tough job I had a section of a wall where I was replacing old base board and that's when I noticed how bad the plaster was so I decided to take on the chore of plastering those spots the plaster of Paris worked out fine 3 Coates and a little sanding.

Works GREAT! When hardened you can't even tell the wall has been patched once sanded. However, be careful not to mix too much at a time. It does harden extremely fast, I learned that lesson the hard way. Perfect for patching and does not crack like mudd does on bigger size holes. I highly recommend this product and will buy again.

I buy this to make my own chalk paint
I buy this to make my own chalk paint. I have been doing it for years and it works well. I have tried many recipes but I just like to pour a good amount into a jar, add some water and mix to get soup mixture and then add an equal amount of paint to the amount of plaster. Honestly that seems to be the best method I have come to use over the years. I haven't used it for wall repair just the chalk paint and kids crafts when I was younger and the stuff is really cool. I am sure there are so many things you could use it for besides repair. Here is a sign I made from the caulk paint mixture.

I have used your plaster of paris for years!
I use your plaster in all my sculptures. My technique I learned from an art professor I had at Long Beach State University. I use a 2 to 3 times plaster to water without mixing. I then hand apply the plaster to a wire armater. It sets very hard yet it can easily be finished with files and sand paper. I then paint 6 coates of bronze tone paints and seal with varithane spray.
