Not waterproof
I re-caulked my shower and waited 24hour for it to dry… it split in half. I thought maybe it was user error so tried again and waited over 24 hours for it to dry. Came off faster than the first time.

Based on your commentary indicating: "it split in half" would suggest that there may be some instability in the surfaces that were being filled and/or the product was being applied too thickly (which can result in uneven drying/tension and cracking). It worked terrific in my shower. We grouting. Easy to apply, good texture, easy cleanup, recommended by Painter/paint department.

Every day it is painting with water.
When are you going to dry? What do you do if it melts all the time?
I did applied this 1 week ago, and I had waited for 24 hours to dry, but it is melting so far.

Based on your commentary indicating: “but it is melting so far.", would appear to indicate that you may be attempting to apply the sealant to an area where silicone and/or its residue may be present. Because silicone and its residue are classified as a "bond breaker" (a surface that is too slick to permit proper adhesion/bond formation), proper adhesion/product performance would not be expected. With respect you your commentary regarding DAP’s product support, as indicated on DAP's website and other supporting DAP documents/references: "Chat with an Expert - Our Technical Customer Service Representatives are available by phone (888-DAP-TIPS) and to chat during normal business hours.

Not Water proof. Not for bath and shower.
Not sure how Dap is getting away with false advertising.
This is not waterproof.
After showering once the entire thing
peeled off, although i left it to cure for 3 days.
Useless for bathroom and shower.
Use real silicone caulk instead.
Looks like a class action lawsuit might be in order for lying to customers.

Not for shower
Used in shower and within 2 weeks cracks are forming. Not flexible enough for shower. Will redo with silicone caulk.

Did Not Adhere to Surface
Used this product TWICE on shower stall. Did not adhere to sides. Eventually grew lots of mold and peeled away twice. Wished they had another brand or force company remove guarantee promise on back.

horrible results
I let this cure for 7 days before using the shower, after two weeks, its running down the tub. It started to bubble and now just sliding off. I wish i could leave zero stars

DAP Kwik Seal is a water-based (acrylic-latex) formula, the sole drying mechanism is the evaporation of water. Dry time can be significantly impacted by cool or humid application conditions, moisture in the application surfaces or by thick (deep) applications or entrapped application. Based on your commentary indicating, it would appear to indicate that there is an issue present at the application site. Do not use on shower/tub
This item is not suitable for bathtubs, despite what the description claims. I sealed my shower with it and after the first use it soften and almost literally dissolve, after it drys again it cracked.
