Total Bust...Literally
I bought this thinking it would be much more convenient for smaller projects than digging out the caulk gun and because I've had such good luck with their spackling product. Not so. The product packaging is a poor design as the caulk pushes the nozzle off and caulk leaks out everywhere. (See posted pic.) I managed to complete my project but not without incredible difficulty. I do not recommend.

Thank you for posting your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience with Simple Seal. Based on your description and the photograph that you included in you posting, the nozzle tip may have been the culprit. Narrowly cut nozzle tips may create too tight of a constriction point, which can cause product to leak under the applicator nozzle. This is especially true if the applicator nozzle is not properly fit onto the can. At your convenience, please contact DAP’s Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477 so that we can obtain some additional information from you and so that we can arrange to provide you with replacement product (packed in a more traditional squeeze tube or cartridge) for the Simple Seal that did not perform satisfactorily.

I bought this product with only one requirement - no gun needed. I learned that there are quite a few such products to chose from and I bought three different kinds to fix simple gaps. And yes, since I am very inexperienced regarding the task(s) I had a lot of the product all over the can... But that didn't diminished the final result or the beauty of the clean up! Very simple, very easy and, of course, I am recommending Simple Seal to everyone I know.

Easy to Use
My only comment is I wish it came in clear and almond also. Love the product. Easy to use!!!!!
