Leather Hybrid Weather-Resistant Tool Belt with Suspenders in Black

LEATHER HYBRID TOOL BELT WITH SUSPENDERS IN BLACK by DEAD ON TOOLS I have a number of tool belts-- mostly for single purpose-- electrical work, framing, etc. Some are 30 years old, worn, but trusty. In all that time, I never found a suspension system that I actually liked, until now. This suspension system is perfect, and the mix of leather and man-made materials is done right. Empty, the belt is lighter than many. The belt length is huge, but the tail tucks nicely (Skinny guys will need to punch a hole). One of the best features is that it has a pocket for a rafter square (see photo). I have not been using the hammer hanger as it is placed mid-back and sitting on a hammer is not enjoyable-- there is a front loop that works fine. Also, while my big LG phone fits in the phone pocket, I would rather see a tape measure hanger in that position or on the other side suspension strap. I do use the left upper-most pocket for a measure, but I would prefer to keep drill bits or electrical tape in there. Anyway-- no matter how you choose to outfit this belt, you will 100% appreciate the comfort and versatility of the design. This is an easy recommend to buy.

it's hard to give this more than 4 stars because you have to use it for a while to determine how well it is made, what it can handle and how easy it is on the person using it. that being said, it seems to be very well made, high quality of leather and stitching, plenty of room for a lot of tools. The hanger on the back for a large hammer is excellent and easy to grab without wrenching your back. When my husband is better, he will be back to work with this new tool belt. He feels that it is well weighted around all sides and appears to be easy to stoop down or reach up without a problem.

Comfortable, stylish, durable. Great for a variety of crafts, this tool belt has plenty of holders and pouches and a decent suspension system. It does have some of the typical nylon fabric woven in, but also a lot of leather parts built in that make this a really handsome tool organizer. The padded and adjustable shoulder belts and suspension help distribute the weight how you need to. This does have a bit of weight to it in itself, so may want to check those specs if that’s going to be a big issue to you in your craft. This also has a phone holster right up front towards the top of the belt, and I had no problem fitting in my iPhone 7. (Not a plus or pro, just FYI).

OMG this is not only the best tool belt ever, but it's so cool looking like a work of art. The belt is made of leather and polyester which makes it extra strong, It has an unbelievable amount of storage pouches, 15 to be exact so you will never be without every tool you need. The suspenders and back section are cushioned for comfort throughout day and helps the belt and weight distribution to stay in place. The height and size is adjustable for a perfect fit. It's pricey but worth every penny, made for the pros.

full-time builders and tradesmen need to carry alot of tools and have them handy. why not also carry as many tools as needed and reduce stress on the body? the wide padded moisture wicking suspenders and thick wide leather belt help spread the weight of tools over a larger area of the body and greatly reduce fatigue. this can help improve jobsite safety as well by helping to maintain balance and keep the working area free of small tools that might otherwise be set down in the way. this tool belt and suspenders combo is very heavy duty and very thick. the leather is thick, the nylon is very thick. even the metal connectors and cinches are very thick. definitely feels built to last. my only complaint is that this thing feels like it was designed to be worn over a thick parka it is so big.

The leather tool belt has so many places to put tools you will have a great time filling it. It will fit a person up to a 54" waist. A place for your hammer and pouches for nails, screws and fastners. The padded shoulder pads will take the weight and stress off your shoulders if you have to wear it all day. Has a place for your cell phone or other small items. Very well made and very comfortable.

This is a Tool Belt that has buckle and strap that can be buckled at 36” to 60”, The tag on the product says 40” to 54”. The main part of the belt is 3” wide and the strap is 2” wide. The leather thickness is nearly all 3/16” thick with heavy stitching and rivets at critical points. The two pouches that accompany the belt plus the Hammer Clip pouch, also included, take 20” of the 27” available to hang pouches. The suspender attachment loops take an additional 4”. This does not leave a lot of space on the 3” wide section. This was assuming you had the minimum waist size. The larger your waist the more pouches you can have (along with the more weight you must carry). I strapped in with the belt alone and the weight pulled the belt past my hips. In my case, I must use the provided suspenders. The suspenders held the belt evenly at the suspender adjustment height and the 3” thickness allow me to fasten the belt strap without a lot of force. The belt stayed up and was usable even though it was not fully tight. The suspenders are comfortable and have extra padding over the shoulders. They have adjustments in length of a maximum of 25” from the top of the shoulder to the top of the belt to 18”. To make it shorter by another 3 inches would require the straps to be shortened and re-stitched. One front upper section of the suspenders has a pouch for a flip phone (my cell phone would not fit) and the other strap has 3 small loops and 1 large loop for storing items. A medium sized sharpie pen fit securely in the small loops. The tool bags are general purpose: All are Double lined with a strong material that can withstand constant removal and insertion of tools and parts. The material itself is water resistant but probably would react to acids and some chemicals. The material is said to be 4 times stronger than most pouch materials. The top edges are all double stitched and the largest section feels at triple thick. The bottoms of the pockets that can touch the ground seem triple thick also. Extra leather parts are riveted at critical points. Each bag has a leather strap for a hammer or other tool with a large handle. Very Versatile. Bag 1 has two main sections. The front is 9” long by 2” wide by 5.5” deep. It will reshape to about 4” wide. You could put loose items like nails, screws, or wire nuts and they would stay put as long as the pouch remained mostly vertical. The second section is 10” long by 4” wide by 6” deep and will stretch to 6” wide. Loose items will fit as will larger items such as duplex plugs, meters, small levels, etc. There are also 3 small, but fully enclosed, pockets in the back wall of this section. 1 would hold something as round as your thumb (e.g. voltage tester) and the other 2 would hold something 1.5 times that diameter - all by 5” deep. As with most pockets, if you put something in a pocket that is shorter than the pocket’s depth, it will drop out of site and may be hard to retrieve. Small hammer loop. Bag 2: The pouch has 7 sections: From the Front: 2 pockets – 5” long by 2” wide by 5.5” deep; next 2 pockets 4” long by 1/2inch wide by 3.5” deep; next 1 pocket 8.5” long by 1” wide by 6” deep; next 1 pocket 10” long by 4” wide by 8” deep. In this pocket are 3 tiny pockets 2.5” deep for pencil, drill, pen? I put my tools in these pockets so the handles stuck up so they could easily be reached and removed; Last pocket: 5” long by (3” tapering down to 1.5”) wide by 4” deep. Tape Measure, electrical tape. Medium hammer loop. Middle section: Metal loop for Large hammers or tool with clip connector… Stick in the handle and the tool head catches on loop. If I was using a large framing hammer, I would move this loop and put it near my hip. That large a hammer needs the large loop. There are many ways to load your tool pouches. My goal was to make it so that I could reach for my 6 common tools and put them back without looking at the pouch. Also, the loose items pockets could be reached without looking. I also have a list of my needed tools for each type of job that I am doing (e.g. Electrical, carpentry, plumbing). I resort the tool selection from each project type. This item has an outstanding capacity and variety that can fit into many projects. You will get great complements on your choice. Have fun.

The newest version of tool belts is an excellent upgrade. Only made it possible by Dead on Tools brand. The combination of hybrid leather reinforcement and polyester fabric materials makes a durable and forever perfect belt. You can customize the belt depending on the trade you work on, with plenty of storage pouches and dedicated speed square and tape measure, and radio pouch over the front top suspender those are great features, also the suspenders are cushioned which makes you wearing comfortable and are great because they distribute the weight from the belt. Worth its price.

Ok, for starters this is an expensive tool belt so its not meant for the weekend DIY’er. This is for the guy who uses it to earn a living. If you tend to carry a lot of tools, this belt can handle a bunch. A large quantity of tools comes with weight, this tool belt has padded suspenders to carry the weight on your shoulders rather than on your hips where the belt likes to hang awkwardly. Both side pockets can be adjusted to the front or rear for the individuals comfort. The waist belt is leather and should last a long time. There is also a phone pocket on one suspender that is located high and near the top of the strap which allows you to hear your phone. This is a great tool belt and may be the last one you buy.

Great tool belt and it is great looking. Fights firm and hold in place. Comes with plenty of pockets and places for tools or attachments or screws and nails. Very nice leather and nylon pouch. Well made easily adjustable. Belt has a basic unlimited amount of holes and the top shoulder is very comfortable and easy to adjust. The radio pocket is a nice touch if you need it. Over all a very nice tool belt should fit all your needs. See attached video
