Pick Up Truck Storage System for Dodge RAM 1500 (2009-2018), 1500 Classic (2019-Current), 2500/3500 (2010-Current)

Works great for all my tools and stuff, Easy to install by myself took about 90 minutes would I also got the tool boxes and they are great also.

Great product. Easy to assemble. If you are not paying attention you could build it backwards. System keeps everything organized. Keeps all my belongings from sliding all around the truck bed.

Super easy install. These drawers are great if you have a tall truck and hate having to climb into the bed to get tools out of a traditional toolbox. My tools are even more out of sight, out of mind with the Decked system.

Super easy to install. Took about an hour start to finish. Drawers roll in and out really smooth even heavily loaded like mine are. When I add a second truck for my business I'm definatly getting a Decked box for it too.

Product was as advertised and fairly easy to install, I did it with no asistance.

Great product, allows easy access to your tools, hunting fishing equipment. My opinion Decked is must have with any pickup!

We have the vehicle this storage system is made for. But we already had a bed liner in it and we weren't going to remove it to install this storage system. Luckily, the storage system was designed with enough extra moulding on the sides that we could trim it without affecting the integrity of the drawer system. A white crayon and ruler to mark the areas and a reciprocating saw to cut off the major pieces and a circular sander to sand down some of the lower plastic moulding is all that we needed. My husband said it "cut like butter." Well, not really, but with the power saw, it was certainly easier than we imagined it would be. My husband probably had 6 hours into the project and I had 4 hours. I'd guess about 4 of these 10 hours were spent modifying the frame. So if you're not making modifications, you can still plan on spending a good chunk of time getting the system from carton to installed. (My time includes the time to think about what the instructions were trying to tell us!) I think that the 2-sided instruction sheet was written with brief bulleted points to make it APPEAR that there's really nothing to putting this system together! The instructions really should have used full sentences with more detailed photos! There were some pieces that showed up in the pictures on this instruction sheet, but no mention of how to install. Those pieces had their own brief instruction sheets wrapped in their packaging. As we got nearer the end, we'd examine these "extras" and hope that we didn't get to a point that would make it difficult to add these pieces where they really belong! My husband, who happens to be really good at figuring things out, was having difficulty getting the spring-loaded handles in because of the brief (i.e. incomplete) instructions. However, because my fingers were smaller than his, I "found" the location where the spring was supposed to go and brought it to his attention. His fatter fingers rolled right over the spot. Had the instructions been clear saying something like...."insert the spring into the well outside the handle channel", he would have found it right away. Once he got the spring situated, he knew exactly how to get the handle in. (I saw him do it and I can't figure out he did it!) Watch my video and see how smooth the spring system works for unlatching and latching the drawer. Our truck doesn't have a cap so the storage system is going to get rained and snowed on. We've had some rain since we installed the drawers and they stayed dry inside. The are advertised as not airtight so condensation could build inside the drawers. I guess we'll find out in the heat of the summer. The system is sturdy. We walked across it once installed and felt no give. The ad states that build time is 2 hours and removal time is 20 minutes. I would say that the build time would be 2 hours for a truck where modifications to the storage system are not necessary (i.e. No bed liner already installed) and there are at least 2 people working on it and these 2 people have already built 5 or 6 of these systems! Just unpacking and figuring out what things are takes at least 30 minutes. Then you have to organize all these parts ....another 15 minutes minimally! I'm very skeptical about the 20 minutes to remove because this is what has to happen to take out the system: 1a) Clear a space in the garage to hold the system after you take it out of the truck. 1b) Remove all the stuff that you have on top of the drawer system in the back of the truck. 1c) Find the power tools and attachments you'll need to disassemble the system. 2) Remove the ruler plate screwed across the 2 halves of the system by the truck hatch. (and don't lose the screws) 3) Remove the screwed in bottle opener plate screwed across the 2 halves of this system by the truck hatch. (and don't lose the screws.) 4) Pull out both drawers...and if they're full of stuff they'll probably need to be emptied first so that they aren't too heavy to pull out (2 people necessary for this) 5) Unscrew the bolts joining the two halves together from hatch to back window of truck. (Don't lose the screws) 6) Lift the passenger side half of the system, which is going to be wedged pretty tight to the driver's side. Not sure how much kicking and screaming will be required at this point. But definitely will need 2 people. 7) Remove the driver's half of the system (2 people) The idea to remove is certainly simple. The tasks are relatively simple (except for #6). But there's no way that this will take only 20 minutes! Overall, we think that this is a fine storage system. The drawers work great. The top is sturdy so that you could add stuff on top without worry about it all collapsing into your drawers. Obviously, you lose the depth that was available in the truck bed before adding the drawer system. But the top of the drawer system lies flat across the entire space ....over the wheel wells too. So you actually have more flat surface to work with. It did take us more effort to install because we had to modify since our bed liner occupied space that this storage system wanted. But it really wasn't too difficult to modify. It just took the right power tools and a little more time. Because I imagine removing the system and then putting it back in is going to be time consuming, we'll want to be sure to plan all activities that need the full truck bed around the same time frame. I know removing and reinstalling this system isn't something that we'll want to do more than once a year!

I love it. Hardest thing is organizing
