Ultimate Disappointment

I’ve owners and installed various Z wave locks throughout my many years of homeownership. Never before have I run across such a worthless piece of crap in a lock. First…it’s not easy to install. For some reason the screws don’t line up well and it takes a lot of frustrating tinkering to finally get it secured. Second, good lucky pairing it with a hub for accessing the locks. The Delaney app doesn’t even recognize that they make locks, so the instructions they provide for pairing it with WiFi are useless. I was able to hook it up to my SmartThings hub will a little tech savvy. But then…if it’s connected to WiFi you end up having to replace the batteries every 4-7 days. Needless to say I got locked out multiple times in the 3 weeks I had this installed. I finally just returned it. My fault for stepping outside the comfort zone for a lock with no reviews. Hopefully this saves someone else weeks of hassle and frustration.
