    A:  Hello Cutter Thank you for your contact. We apologize for any trouble or inconvenience in finding information. It would depended on the thickness of the bolts as well as the metal used. The saw can be used to cut both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Your saw has different metal cutting capacities depending upon type of blade used and the metal to be cut. Use a finer blade for ferrous metals and a coarse blade for non-ferrous materials. In thin gauge sheet metals it is best to clamp wood to both sides of sheet. This will insure a clean cut without excess vibration or tearing of metal. Best Regards Sherri C DEWALT

            IT GETS THE JOB DONE. but it gets extremely hot. Its the first time I use it. It has black stains as if it was smoking. Dont want to keep using it as it might break and I will be unable to return it. Taking it back tomorrow.

              Excellent recip saw
              First used this saw with a Spyder wire brush attachment to clean foundation flakes before refinishing. It performed very well for over an hour to do this job. Also, I love the variable speed feature! All that at a great price and its ability to use the blade ifn4 different positions is an excellent feature..... Love it!

              I love the compact shape of this tool. It is much easier to handle than the straight reciprocating saws. And the DeWalt engineering comes through again with an easy to use lever for inserting and removing the blades--again, much easier to use than blade locks on other reciprocating saws. The blades can be inserted in four different directions, allowing for easier and safer use on jobs that require working at different angles. Strong motor. Works great. I recommend it!
