15 Amp Corded 10 in. Compact Job Site Table Saw with Site-Pro Modular Guarding System

I've only had this tool a for a few days but put it right to use. Started off building a cabinet/stand for it as you see in the photo. The saw works great. The dust port is very helpful and really kept the mess down compared to my previous saw. I love the ease to adjust the fence; having two geared rollers keeps the fence very precise as well. An awesome upgrade to my collection! Looking forward to MANY years of enjoyment.

Solid compact and portable table saw for pros and DIYers. It has the quality I have come to expect from DeWalt with a powerful motor, solid construction and brass gears. It features a 24" cross cut, stable fence, angled cuts and a 4,800 rpm 15 amp motor. I do intermediate-level DIY carpentry and I have found a table saw to be one of my more important tools, its uses are endless. From making trim to dadoing (without a dado blade) to precisely ripping boards for furniture, this is a great tool. The saw's fence, arguably the most important part, is very solid which ensures a great cut. Don't get a cheap table saw with an unstable fence, you will regret it! According to the instructions, this saw is not meant for dado blade use although I see some reviewers used it with stacked dado blades. For my first job with this saw, I built a lighthouse which required ripping over 150 separate boards. The saw, which comes with a nice blade, cut them all well and precisely. I did mitered cuts and ripped trim as well. Whether blade height, rip width and miter angle, the settings were easy to adjust on the saw and help firm during cutting. The dust extractor handles the vast majority of the saw dust and clean up after jobs is minimal. At just shy of 54 lbs., it is a bit heavy to carry but I find I can move it with relative ease in and out of my basement. Cord is 2-prong. My saw was missing the fine adjustment knob for the fence and DeWalt quickly shipped me one after contacting customer support. The saw also comes with a blade guard that attaches easily and provides a safe cut along with an anti-kickback assembly and push-through tool for increased safety as well. The 10" blade that comes with the saw has a 0.98" kerf and the riving knife is 0.110" wide. Other accessories are a bevel cross-cutting tool which is create for cuts like a hexagon and wrenches for replacing the blade, etc. This is my second table saw; the other being the DeWalt 60v FlexVolt. The main differences are this saw has a larger table; the FlexVolt is quieter (brushless motor) and cuts better with 5,800 RPM.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to start doing some household projects and furniture. The saw is easily adjustable and comes with the wrenches to replace the blades. The fence is extremely easy to adjust with the wheel and the measurements are easy to read. Handled my dado blades well. Probably my most favorite feature is the kick stop. When you’re leaning over the saw after making a cut it is much easier and safer to be able to stop the saw with your knee.

DWE7480 Great Portable Table Saw. But it’s also a great stationary Saw. I‘ve had this table saw almost a year now and I have cut many 2X4’s 4X4’s and many sheets of ¼” to ¾’ plywood. I mounted it on my work bench to make it easier to cut larger pieces like 4’X8’sheets plywood and I’m able to cut plywood up to 24’ wide. Although it’s designed for mobility it works perfect mounted to my bench. It’s easy to use and has a dust control port. I ‘am completely satisfied with this product and I highly recommend it

Excellent saw. I had to return 2 Ridgid saws before switching to this brand. Night and day difference, and only $65 more. The blade stays in alignment and only needed minor adjustments from the factory. The table surface is slightly sunken/warped in the middle, less than 1/32", it doesn't affect my work, wasn't worth returning for me. The fence system is great, very easy to adjust, and the fact that you can make adjustments to keep the fence parallel to the blade/miter slots is awesome. The fence that came with the saw was slightly warped in the middle as well, very minimal. But DeWalt support was amazing, very fast, and sent me a replacement with no problems and the new fence is perfect. The blade housing is great, made out of metal, totally sealed up, limits dust spreading everywhere when using a vac. Would, and have, recommended this saw, totally worth it. Just build yourself a stand with out-feed support and you're good to go.

Very solid little saw! The stand is awesome and study. It's a little loud but that's to be expected coming from a cast iron contractors saw. The fence is very accurate as well.

The saw cuts great and is accurate. The stand is awesome! The only complaint I have is the throat plate has some non adjustable slop in it. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Bought this saw with the DW7440RS stand on sale. Description says 24.5 inch right rip capacity. It's not. At best 24.25 inch based on the rail's teeth. Could not get it to move to 24.5. Per DeWalt's spec, it's listed as 24 inch. However, it can really be more than 24 by adjusting the alignment screw. Mines came out of the box needed a bit of adjustment. The measurement indicator and both right screw for the fence was off by 1/8th inch. the blade was not 90 degree and the riving blade was not lined up with the blade. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase as it was on sale and for what i do, this is more than enough.

It is very nice machine. However, the rubber stoppers, leave oil like markings on the cement floor, that I could not clean with soap and water.

I purchased the 7480 a couple of weeks ago. Setup: extremely simple. blade was pre-installed. blade was dead-on 90 degrees with the table and exactly parallel to the fence. Cuts: easy ripping and clean cuts. Note: rather than get the stand, I built a platform that brought the table saw level with my existing portable workbench. I highly recommend this baby.
