Hey Kingalter My box is the DWST20880. It did not have a top tray but I ordered one from Servicenet Bostitch parts. It is the same size as the DWST20800, the latter comes with the tray! Only the handle is different. My measurements are of the largest square area in each compartment. The molding of the box has shaped surfaces and nooks where longer items fit. I put drill bits longer than these dimensions in it. The four mid compartments have removable dividers. d= is front to back. bottom box: w=18 d=10 h=15" mid comp: the four compartments with dividers removed, each w=4 d=10 h=4,25" top comp: w=18 d=9 h=6"

No I received it cracked now I need to return it to the store for exchange hope this time its not thrown out of the van for delivery (ON TRACK DELIVERY) company delivery was 5 days late, not a Home Depot problem but they should look into the delivery companies they use.

Being ABS plastic, it is water resistant, but I would not submerse this unit in water as it will rush right in. I also would not leave this out in the rain, as I am pretty sure that it would not keep the tools completely dry.

You have to see it in person. Some have the markings some do not. Same part number. Dewalt's website shows it without. Many others show it with markings.

DOES NOT SHOW FRACTIONS
IT DOES NOT SHOW FRACTIONS!!!! The photos and descriptions are wrong. Do not buy if you want a tape that shows fractions. You will have to waste your time returning them. I have servel tape measures from DeWalt that show fractions and have been trying to get more. The last 8 that we have ordered have said that they show fractions. NONE of them have and all had to be returned

After 6 weeks it will NOT HOLD anymore.
I purchased this in Sept. 2020. I used it twice on small, easy home projects. Went to use it yesterday Oct. 16, and it kept retracting. It won't lock/hold anymore. I'm bummed. Very disappointing. I wrote to Sherri over at DeWalt today. Waiting to hear back from her. I will update this after I hear back from DeWalt.

Friction-lock mechanism does not last
Same issue as others. First one stopped holding. I didn’t understand why. Exchanged it for another at the store and with occasional use the same thing happened but this time the friction-lock tab completely broke off. Will try taking it back. I love Dewalt but this is subpar

Several weeks of light use... internal tape locking mechanism snapped off, now tape just retracts all the time... no I don't have the receipt anymore... $16 down the toilet, shame I actually liked the size, weight, etc, etc... don't buy.

I was very happy with my purchase and it fit all my tools into it and still has plenty of space t...
I was very happy with my purchase and it fit all my tools into it and still has plenty of space to hold more. With the Covid-19 going on it did take some time to arrive which was fine because I rather them take their time and keep their employees as safe as possible. So I would definitely recommend this tool box especially for me that doesn't have a lot of room in there home this helps out a lot with space saving. The product is also very solid and seems to hold up pretty well so far.

Great portable toolbox with Easy access to everything. Strong, sturdy, spacious and convenient. I bought the Stanley FATMAX version of this toolbox 3 years ago, and it has held up very well on the job site, so I decided to buy this one from DEWALT. The new one from DEWALT is exactly the same as my old one from Stanley. Even the mold numbers in the plastics are the same, just the metal plate for the name is different. I also have a DEWALT ToughSystem rolling set, but I prefer this one because you don’t have to restack the boxes every time you need to get something. The ToughSystem is more heavy duty and water resistant, but this one is easier to use and works fine if you’re not leaving it outside or dropping a tree on it. Note that DEWALT sells a similar looking version that does not have the same scissored support carriage. I don’t think that one would hold up as well, so pay attention to the back of the unit.

The 16' tape and the 30' tape both show the fractions in the pictures on here. The 25' tape does...

I ordered the 25' tape online for pickup in store. Guess what: no fractions. Sorry, I don't really need them. But anymore when I interview someone, I'm surprised they can read. Let alone read fractions within an inch. Sorry, this one's going back to the store.

Pocket clip is horrible
I use a tape measure hundreds of times a day. I dont have a problem witht he tape itself, I do have a problem with the pocket clip. I own 6 of these tapes and they all do the same thing. As you clip and unclip it from your pocket the little screw comes loose, on every single one of them. I was using one yesterday as I was doing tile work on a shower, I had to tighten the screw 7 or 8 times in one day. I have alot of Dewalt tools as it is my preferred brand, but these tape measure drive me crazy!
