Decent Product
Have heated a 30' X 50' shop for the last year with this heater. I got tired of fighting with the gas company over seasonal usage. Keep in mind the 20KW is only approx. 68,000 btu's so does it heat as well as my 200,000 btu gas heater, no, of coarse not. It does however keep the shop plenty warm 70+ degrees if I want in any conditions that we have here with the occasional low in the single digits as long as the doors stay closed. At roughly a third of the capacity as my gas heater recovery is obviously slower when opening the overheat door but meets my expectations and works well in my opinion. The only issue so far is the cheap click type fan switch is starting to fail which I will have to replace in the very near future, inexpensive easy to replace part under $10 to do yourself. As with all electric heaters the actual incoming voltage will dramatically change rated output, fortunately my line voltage always runs hot at approx. 254-257 volts so I have zero issues with decreased heating capacity. If used on 208 volt single phase power there will be a reduction in heat output.
