Super BRIGHT!
This area light is amazing! The versatility of being able to set it up in a bedroom, kitchen, or bath really helps out a lot because it literally brightens the whole room. The battery life is pretty good on the highest setting but make sure you have a couple extra charging if you are going to be using it all day.

Great light can handle the job site
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DCL074 is a great light, it provides the best lighting when hung from the ceiling. The light has a great run time when not at the highest setting around 10 hours. When at the High setting expect to get about 3 to 4 hours of run time on a 6-amp hour battery. The downside to this light is the tool connect. The control stopped working after sitting for three days of non-use and will not reconnect. Had to take it in for support to get the issue resolved. Other than that, this a great light that that can handle job site tough conditions. Would have given this light a 5 star rating if not for the tool connect issue.

And Let There Be LIGHT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to put this work light to the test almost immediately. Our office building lost power and we needed to get to the main fuse box and pump room. We needed our hands free and for our safety a lot of light.The Dewalt All Purpose Work Light did just that! It was bright as daylight not the yellow glow you get with other work lights. No cords to trip over. You can laid and hang practically anywhere. With a tough cage it took a couple of hits without compromising the lighting. The battery compartment is a plus! You never have to worry about your battery being lost or coming off. I use the DCB205 battery with it and it when 2 hours straight and it still had 3 bars. The battery compartment can hold one DCB205 and store one DCB203 battery. Or it can use one DCB203 and store 2 of the same batteries.Granted the Work Light can have a bit of weight but that's always a good thing. It means its durable. Let's not forget the awesome feature of Tool Connect to track it down. I Highly recommend this Work Light. Its durable, tough and reliable. I loved it so much that i purchased the DW0737 Heavy Duty Tripod to go with it. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Pretty Good but Could have been great
This is a great light, but Dewalt really missed with not making it capable of charging a battery while running off power cord. Other than that it works really well and is bright, which is what you want in a light.

Okay, not what i expect
It is kind of big, the 4 arms around the light are not protected with rubber( They should of ), it is heavy, price point close to $200 a little expensive
