The two Dewalt 4Ah batteries can serve as a powerhouse for your drill driver and impact driver combo kit. The two 2Ah batteries can be used as either supplementary power while the 4Ah's charge or as a compact fit for tight spaces. The 2Ah batteries are not the cheap black batteries that come with most low-end Dewalt cordless power tools. Each battery in this kit features the battery life meter located on the back of the battery pack. As a commercial construction worker, I can tell you that this kit is worth your money -- especially if you do not already own a larger battery. I would buy this kit over the 60V Flex any day for my 20V tools because of the value that this kit brings and the reported tool damage and malfunctions that the 60V Flex batteries can to 20V tools that are outside of the Flex tool-line. (Despite Dewalt's reassurances to the contrary)

The combonation of (2) 2ah & (2) 4ah batteries will provide more than adaquate additional power I need for the various 20V tools I own.

I bought this 2.0 Ah battery pack to use with the 18 V to 20 V adapter that I bought for the olde...
I bought this 2.0 Ah battery pack to use with the 18 V to 20 V adapter that I bought for the older 18 V tools I have. It was $30 off of the regular price (new lower price) so I opted to go with this instead of the older 18 V battery which was $40.00 higher ($99.00). I may still buy the older 18 V battery if I find a great price simply because the adapter doesn't fit my 18 V flashlight. In addition, this battery will work with all of the other 20 V tools I have bought recently and can serve as an extra battery. By the way, don't leave the battery in the adapter or it will run down.
