20V MAX Cordless 1/2 Gal. Wet/Dry Portable Vacuum and (1) 20V MAX Compact Lithium-Ion 2.0Ah Battery

Terrific handheld vac for a guy who already has a charger and other DeWalt battery tools and ends to keep his man cave tidy. Plenty powerful. Most battery powered handheld vacs don't do much after a year and some plastic part always breaks. Only had this a month, but suspect it as long lasting and durable as all my other DeWalt products. The little pull out hose makes it very flexible. Just what I wanted to clean up the ash and debris that floats around my wood burning stove!

Easy to use, just what we needed

Detachable hose is great for adding on attachments but tends to come loose and reduce suction if left unchecked. Very Important! - Filter is Hepa lvl and is great at capturing dust however it is tiny and gets clogged quickly w/ very fine dust. For example: Vacuum can easily handle cleaning up the debris from one area of drywall dust caused by installing a electrical wall plate but that's about all it can handle. Filter will need to be removed, banged clean using the ground or the inside of a trash can then replaced. Filter will not clog up w/ sawdust, sand, water, pet hair, etc. Filter is reusable, replaceable and washable w/ water. Unit is very loud and should not be used in Libraries. Larger batteries recommended. Additional vacuum nozzles recommended. Hose detaches from vacuum to add-on standard size tips. Brush style tip helps remove white color dust from dark color carpet. Extended flat tip nozzle type helps to get dust debris behind cabinets. I would consider this tool perfect for one-off repairs where leaving no dust behind is critical.

The vacuum quit working after 30 days. Bought it from Home Depot online through their app so I called to see how to return it. They said to take it to a store. Tried to return it today but they wouldn’t take it since it was order ordered online and there’s no receipt even though I showed them purchase info in the app. I’m a HD Pro contractor and spent $30k there last year. Guess that doesn’t mean a thing.
