On Black Friday, I bought this saw, a DW axiom drill, and the 2-pack of 5AHr batteries for a fencing project when the weather warms up. To play with my new tools, I volunteered at church to build three 8' x 6' x 2' shelves with 2x4s and 5/8" particle board. The saw nearly worked as well as my old Craftsmen corded circular saw. Plenty of power for what I need. The saw battery still had a bar of juice left in it after the shelves were done.
It is now time to donate my old corded saw and my 18V M tools. As DW is building better tools and bringing some factories back home, I am shifting to their tools for now on.

This Product was pretty light and easy to handle, which made cutting my vinyl floor easy. Some have a laser, this one does not. However, the plate has a guide line that makes it easy to cut straight. Saw has a plate that raises, lowers, and angles. This saw performed great. It was fun to use. When you are done cutting, pop the hook out and hang it up.

Purchased this 7 1/4 inch saw to replace another brand 6 1/2 saw 18 volt circular saw and so far I am impressed. The added size blade allows me to easily cut 2 x 4, 2 x 6 and 2 x 8 boards with ease and even on a bevel cut. I have also used the saw for ripping plywood up to 3/4 inch thick and with a 20v- 5Ah MAX XR battery gives me plenty of power and run time to make all the cuts I need on a single charge. The electronic brake works well, and set up for bevel cuts is easy. The supplied carbide tip 24 tooth blade does a good overall job but would opt for a 40 tooth blade if cutting plywood. The first thing I noticed when compared to the 6 1/2 inch saw was the added weight, but the trade off for more cutting depth and how smooth this saw operates the woes of a heavier saw were soon forgotten.

I've only used it once to cut through 12' of 3/4" pine plywood while mounted to a Kreg Rip Cut guide, but my initial impressions are good. It went through the plywood like a champ. I didn't detect much, if any bogging down. The saw is quieter than the corded Dewalt it replaces, and much lighter too. It came with a extra thin kerf blade, and a 3ah battery, which was sufficient for my cut. I'm sure it would've cut through many more feet before the battery drained out. If it had a cutting guide, I'd give it 5 stars.

The DWE575DC adapter fits onto the blade guard of the DCS570 (and I assume the DCS575, but did not test). It is molded apparently exactly as the DWE575 circular saw, for which it is made to fit.
Dewalt claims that DWE575DC will not fit the DCS570.
The PROBLEM is not the molding of the plastic, it appears to be the lower screw, which is not able to be inserted, due to the battery holder. The battery holder blocks the screwdriver from inserting the screw.
HOWEVER, teh lower right tab on the molding, (which fits into the lower hole of the saw blade guard), can be drilled out with a 9/64 drill, and a #8-32 screw can be used to hold this lower part onto the saw. I also used LocTite thread locking adhesive to hold the nut from loosening.
DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, LIABILITY, etc, but i thought I'd pass on a way to make the DCS570 have some dust collection ability.
TO DEWALT - if you modified the lower screw molding with a slight extension, then this Dust collector could fit many more of your saws, as a stock item. Something to consider, because dust collection with a circular saw is a big benefit.
