These batteries are awesome, and they hold a charge for a very long time. I’m not a contractor, but use these weekly and no issues. I own four and haven’t charged some of them for over a year. I will say, check the date codes on top of the batteries before buying, and be sure you’re buying 2022 and up. The DeWalt rapid charger is worth considering too for faster charging. The only con is that they are larger than a 5.0ah battery, which can make a smaller tool more bulky or cumbersome.

Bought this battery back in November and all was good until it stopped working/charging and I’m very disappointed. I don’t know why it stopped working if I took very good care it.

I purchased this Dewalt Grinder to assist with sharpening my riding mower blades. I have a lot of Dewalt cordless equipment so I wanted to make good use of the batteries I have already. First, I will say this grinder has some serious torque. Just by activating the trigger you feel the tool twist in your hand from the torque. It was easy to control and the brake for the disc slowed the grinder pad soon after I released the trigger. This will prevent unwanted damage and injury. This is a tool you didn't know you needed, until you don't have it. I have attached photos of the mower blades. This tool is a beast and has multiple uses! I've had constant trouble with this gun jamming, no matter what type of nail and no matter what type of material I'm trying to nail. I wish I hadn't bought this gun, it's been nothing but trouble. The latest issue is trying to nail with 2 1/2" hot dipped galvanized nails into fiberboard trim (see example pic). After failing outside, I took the gun inside and tried it to see what was happening, the nails don't even penetrated through the fiber board. Should have bought a pneumatic gun.

Excellent quality and portable too. Used this circular saw actually at home depot for wood that didn't fit in my suv. Just measure what you will need before shopping then use it in the parking lot. Strong and battery life is excellent.

Cant get the primary screw off to install the blade. Way too tight. Ever hear of keep it simple...

Be careful when purchasing this battery. I purchased with the Dewalt DCD791P1 (Brushless XR 20v drill/driver). This battery was listed on HD's site as option. The battery has the same model number as the battery that came with the drill, but did not seat properly on the charger and lock in place. The pin design on this battery was different than the battery that came with the drill. It would not charge at all because the design differences. Date codes on both drill battery and this battery were both 2020. The drill battery has a set of 6 independent slots for the pins in the middle (picture). The battery that HD had for this one has 5 taller slots like the 2 outer ones in my picture. Another indicator is the black piece in the grooved area. Battery supplied with drill is as shown, but the battery I received was all yellow.
