This 12 Amp Fast Charger has the highest charge rate in our 20-Volt MAX and DEWALT FLEXVOLT Lithium-Ion battery range, minimizing downtime on the site. Incredible charger, so fast I wish I had years ago
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This charger has me very impressed. I have had almost every iteration of DeWalt charger (20V max, that is), starting with the 101 and then later, larger model “fast chargers.” Now they have released this BEAST, 12 AMPS of sheer brute charging power!!! Just what I need on a busy job site or even in the car (with my inverter). As a professional contractor, time is money and while some things are expected to take longer than others, the faster I can charge up my DeWalt batteries, the faster I can get back to the task (or have that next battery ready to go) and therefore this product is a must-have for any pro using DeWalt tools in their lineup (which should be all of you, by the way). This charges the larger batteries, such as my 10AH that came with my lovely lawn-mower I recently purchased, in record time. I would say it takes about 45 minutes though I have not time tested it yet. I do have all shapes and sizes of batteries, and for my smaller projects I love a trusty old 2ah. This handily charges those from empty to full in approximately 15 minutes. Wow. It simply can’t be beat.

A must have

It changes the batteries quicker than our old chargers. And we go through a lot of batteries! It’s nice to have a charger that can keep up with the demand. We think it’s a must have for everyone who relies on their Dewalt tools.

Remarkably Fast Charging
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DeWALT DCB1112 Fast Charger
I tested this charger in a way that I would use on a normal basis. Some batteries had some charge and were topped off while others were fully dead and got a full charge. Here is what I found in my testing:
1.5 Ah (DCB201) fully dead to full charge in 32 min
6.0 Ah (DCB206) fully dead to full charge in 90-100 min. I tested this twice and this was the range I found.
4 Ah (DCB204) Top off 2/3 bars to fully charged in 17 min
2.0 Ah (DCB203) Top off 2/3 bars to fully charged in 12 min
This fast charger is going to be very useful for me. I tend to go in spurts of using my 20v max tools heavily, then not as often. This charger works great in both settings. It can charge a battery that you need now very quickly, but it also works to top off batteries that have sat for a while between uses when you need them again. The onboard cooling fan is a great addition. I have often found my other chargers to get very hot when using them for long periods. This charger does not get as hot, even after multiple uses in a row. I highly recommend this fast charger for your 20v Max batteries.
