I was building a custom gate and find myself often working alone. These 24” extra large trigger ...
I was building a custom gate and find myself often working alone. These 24” extra large trigger clamps capable of holding up to 600 lbs acted as my helper. I used an air cushion to hold the gate to the height that I wanted. I then used a Dewalt clamp to hold each side of the gate, using the clamp on the right side to pull the gate in, so I get perfect vertical spacing. With these clamps holding the gate in position, I was able to pre-drill the holes for the hinges and fasten my lag bolts. I love how these trigger clamps can be operated with one hand, along with how DEEP the throat depth is, allowing me to grab ahold further down onto objects. I used it for the first time as a spreader to help with the reconstruction of a sling back patio chair. After the installation of the fabric I needed to stretch the backside to reinstall the support framing. My budget clamps were not strong enough. This worked in seconds.

I used this to install stairs. The ability to switch the head so that it was a spreader was huge. I was able to push apart the stair trim (side boards) when installing the risers and treads, and then release the clamp for a nice snug fit. If I didn't have this tool, I would have scratched my trim boards. I can't say enough good things about this tool!
