Q:What are the exact inside dimensions? I have a 20v Dewalt 12" chainsaw I want a box for which is just shy of 24"L x 9"H x 9"W. Will work if I can hit those interior dimensions without any tabs/ribs or anything else getting in the way. Thx.

Strong, Durable and Lightweight
I have two of these for my travel trailer. One for tools and another for spare parts and has been one of my best purchases ever. It may not be "waterproof" as some reviews have mentioned (cannot dunk it in a pool), but it is water resistant enough where I've left it outside in torrents of rain and not a drop of water found its way inside. You can see the seal underneath the lid.
The only negative is that it's almost doubled in price, however IMO is still worth it.

Had this box for YEARS
I’ve have this box for years and it’s been durable for my tools. I highly recommend this tool box. Built strong and thick plastic(what ever it’s made of).
I weigh almost 200lbs and I’m able to stand in it for high things, if needed.

Not waterproof
I bought one of these to keep in the back of my pickup truck, thinking that it was waterproof. Some time after a heavy rain, I opened the tool box and discovered a good half inch of water in it and my tools rusting. I cannot for the life of me figure out where the water is getting in, but it is getting in someplace.
It is a decent tool box, but it is NOT waterproof.

Good for the price, using it to hold my dewalt 20v tools. Wish it was maybe a smidge bigger in a couple axis but its not a major thing. Irritation with ordering this product was that ERP ststem indicated like 6 or 8 in stock but i couldn't find them in store, so i ordered it, and then it took them roughly a week to process my order, and when it was presented to me the box was covered in 6 months or so worth of depot dust. Not a big issue but still. Kinda wonder where they were stashed after all... but product is fine, no complaints yet.

I'm really please with the design, durability, and construction of this tool box. I would have LOVED to have owned this box back in my early apprenticeship days lugging tools around. The thickness of the box is just enough to make it sturdy to prevent flexing or warping and light enough to carry without much effort. This is my go-to box now and I prefer it over my 28 inch DeWALT tool box. The 1-Touch latch is amazing and hasn't failed me or given me any issues. I highly recommend you go get this while you can. You won't regret it.

I brought my first DeWalt toolbox because of the rugged construction. It has a continuous rear hinge, a large sturdy handle and a self latching lid when it closes. Since then I have use this tool box as step stool, the V grove in the cover to stabilize PVC pipe when cutting and one it got left out in the rain and no water got in side. I brought my second one because the removable tray does not cover the entire length of the tool box. I can move the tray to one side, that way spray paint cans, glue bottles and other taller tools can stand upright and the deep lid closes with out hitting them.

Ok, I'm not any fan of plastic tool boxes. However, I needed an inexpensive box ( was only $20) to store my airless spray guns, tips and supplies. I spotted this box on the top shelf of Home Depot, it was the only one. I noticed the full piano hinge ( sick of cheap hinges the break), and the large easy open latch. Box is super sturdy for plastic. Hands down, this is the BEST plastic tool box I have ever purchased. Not a fan of DeWalt tools, but this box is a WINNER! Can be used as a step stool and even has a pipe groove. AMAZING.

Awesome
I recently switched to this Dewalt toolbox from a tool bucket organizer. This thing is perfect for all the around-the-house essentials. It has adequate storage and then some. Also, it's pretty heavy duty plastic. Time will tell if it holds up, but for now I'm more than satisfied.
