Shank is not 3/8, its 7/16.
Beautiful bit. Too bad the product specifications are wrong so I can use it with my drill.

Right tool for the job
Served it's purpose for what I was doing. Quality of the bit is excellent. Needed to drill 1/2 inch holes in pressure treated 4x4's to secure with rebar for landscaping. Made easy work of it.

Sharp, straight and very well made. We used it to drill holes for thru bolts to hold two crossbeams together on two 4" posts. The gantry was used to flip our boat. Highly recommended.

Tough Bit!
Bought this to drill 5/16 bolt holes in Pole Barn timbers 4x6 & 4x4's often stacked together. The bit powered through the treated posts like a hot knife through butter. The sharpness of the bit is excellent and unaffected by more than a hundred holes. Good buy!

I’ve had this a few weeks, I bought it for drilling through a large section into the garage to mount a ring camera. But it’s definitely come in handy since then, I’m glad I went ahead and added it to my tool set instead of borrowing from a neighbor.
