Recently we purchased a home, and completely demo's the inside, nothing but studs left, resulting in at least 3 30 ton garbage bins. Before starting this is one tool we got for the job, and I used it the whole time. I even used this tool today, to remove tome large nails that I bent over from nailing upside down.
First it is solid, and it did not break, and I came onto this thing in many ways. I use my small dewalt pry bar for most things, but when something is stubborn, this guy finished the job for good. I just use the small pry to make a small crack in the joint, and put this guy in. I have also used it to bring up flooring that a person felt the need to use a trillion nails in, every quarter inch, and take out 70 year old hardwood studs. When I was dropping the ceilings, a few pops of the round end into the gyprock, and a gentle pry brought them down.
If you are going to demo something, get one of these, priced right, and very tough.
