I love these drills because they’re lightweight and for a 5’2”, 100lb woman (who is very strong for her size) these drills equalize my working stamina and allow for me to hold the high powered tools four times as long!

Still a great buy
I bought the kit last year and have not been disappointed. It great for handling all sorts of projects around the house. The 1.5ah batteries hold their charge for many months. These are in limited supply so order online for free delivery.

Cheap price cheap quality. My old impact still beating up this atomic drill.
3 days later after installing unistrut impact drill anvil start getting to hot, and screws inside are getting loose because the anvil now has some movement. Drill belt clip fell off after a couple days of use, the plastic wrapping around thw nut that holds the screw give up holding the nut and can't hold the nut anymore because the hole is bigger now than the nut.

I needed an upgrade to the DeWalt 20volt system and this is a great start. These compact drivers fit in a lot of places the old drives won’t. They are also lighter in weight and the batteries are smaller so the tools are easier to work with on long jobs and in difficult situations. Because they are the part of the new 20 Volt system, I can also use the FLEXVOLT 20-Volt/60-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion batteries too.
The tools have plenty of power and good run time with the original batteries.

Nice tools, crummy tool bag
I finally decided to move on from my 15+ year old Dewalt 18V XRP tools which I've used for a variety of DIY projects and have served me well. Got this Atomic drill/impact combo set a few weeks ago and I think it's a great value for $149. I really like how light the tools are compared to the XRP tools and they have great power as well. I don't think these are as rugged as the XRP's, but for my DIY needs they are fine. Although the batteries are listed as 1.3Ah, they are in fact 1.5Ah. I just wish the batteries that came with the set were a bit higher Ah and had the LED gauge on them. My local hardware store had a 2-pack of Dewalt 2.0Ah batteries on sale for $59 with the LED gauge, so I picked those up. My only complaint with this set is the "contractor bag" that it came with is useless. The photo on the Home Depot site shows a much larger and sturdier looking bag, but as you can see by the attached photo, the bag that comes with the kit is tiny. Maybe it's supposed to be a lunch bag. I ended up re-purposing the hard drill case from my old XRP drill and I'm able to fit the Atomic drill and impact driver in it along with some accessories. Overall a great value, however, the photo from HD should be updated to show the bag that actually comes with this kit!

I have had a mix of brands I have been using for my corded and cordless tools, and decided to standardize on the one which has always performed well, even with age. This Dewalt set replaced a Hitachi set i had and I am already super pleased with the performance. More power, nice compact size and the control of the trigger is definitely a plus. I highly recommend this set!!
