Answer This Question

A:  This is a very easy stapler, you could use one hand to hold it down and simply push down on the bar to fire it. This is on the lighter side of how easy it is to fire. I have been using these for nearly 30 years. What you would do with this type of tool is, attach screen, cloth, paper, cardboard and other light materials. This is used to attach materials together, garage sale signs to wooden stakes, reupholster chairs and those type of things. Trust me you can come up with a thousand more you could and a bunch you shouldn't do. Its a great tool and a necessary for any tool box.

Q:Where is the user manual?

Answer This Question

A:  There isn't one as I recalled. It's a straight forward tool and I don't think Dewalt provides one. If you need to know what size of staplers it uses, there is a label showing various sizes at the side of the base of the tool.

Q:ordered and received this but no staples. How do I find smallest staples to cover chair seats?

Answer This Question

A:  Heavy duty staples are normally T50 and you can find it at Home Depot or your local hardware stores. They come in various length, and the length is depending on what material you're using. The thicker the material, the longer the staples.

by|Jun 23, 2020

A:  T-50 staples are what you need, depends on what you are stapling into you can find alot of different options.

FALSE ADVERTISING
Says clearly on packaging will fit 3/8 10mm, well that is a LIE. Returning and going with a different brand that will actually load the staples it says are compatible with

I purchased the staple gun to finish off a seating/storage bench I made. The stapler was easy to load and takes many different lengths. Trigger didn't take too much pressure to use. I was real happy with the results. I used a gray materiel and some padding on top of plywood. Also the tool is easy to find in my tool bag because it is bright yellow.

I bought this to help put up insulation and plastic sheeting in my garage. The gun works very well and is extremely simple to refill. Using your body weight and with the gun level you get very good results. I had no issues using about 1000 staples with this gun. The only catch is it seems to waste about 3-5 staples when you replace with a new set. Not a big deal but worth noting.

      Great Staple Gun
i used this staple gun to install a vapor barrier in the crawl space of a homeowner and used it to staple screens onto attic windows. i really like this staple gun, it is much easier to squeeze then the old staple guns. also for me the belt clip was a huge win, when i was up in attics or in crawl spaces i need both hands and being able to clip this to my belt and move around was key. i have also put over 500,000 staples through this gun and no jams. my only knock on this is when overhead stapling the bar that locks the handle down, locks down and after every staple you have to reset it

Very powerful....however, hard to pinpoint the staple.
Very powerful stapler, however, very hard to aim where the staple is going...needs a better aiming point.

      Great solid built stapler
This stapler is perfect for polytarp. Very solid built and no kickback on your hand. I’ve had a few others over the years but this is by far the best for light duty stapling into studs.

        PIECE OF CRAP
It's a great stapler if you're only looking to staple about every third time you fire a staple through it,. Also, keep a hammer handy, because it will only bury one side of the staple, and you'll have to tap the other half of the staple in by hand. All in all I'd say biggest waste of money since the covid vaccine came out.

PinPoint Accuracy Makes it DIfficult to Staple
I bought this because it felt like the trigger would be easier on my hand but didn't realize the metal part at the end - meant to help staple around wires - is very stiff and difficult to retract. It takes a lot of effort to fully push that in when you're stapling at an odd angle. Called customer support and they said there is no way to remove it or change the position. After reading other reviews, will return anyway. Doesn't sound like the quality I would expect anyway.
