A:Â The blade is not specific to DEWALT. However, you would want to check with the manufacturer of the tool for compatibility.

A:Â This blade should be able to cut plaster. I have used them for cleaning out thinset in grout joints with no problem. Thinset and plaster are similar in hardness so it should work fine.

Used the blade to remove grout from approximately 10 large floor tiles. Although the blade worked, and required some pressure to remove the grout, the blade broke on the last tile.
Blade worked but broke

This grout removal blade worked great. I hedged my bets and bought another brand in case this blade did not hold up. The backup blade did not perform even close to this blade. It stripped the grout in my master bath floor tile in no time. The edge wave surface really cut through the old grout and lifted it out of the tile grooves. The carbide particles did not chip or melt away from the surface of the blade. Worth the price.

Rips The Grout Right Out
I got this to remove a chunk of tile counter. It's good, really good. I compared it to some cheap and thin Ryobi blades and the difference was extreme. The Dewalt blade went through the grout and thin-set like butter. Because of the width caused by the waves, there wasn't much clean-up to do at the edges either. It even went through a porcelain endcap like it wasn't there. If you plan on using the thin edge though, it wears faster than the sides so I'd get extra for backup with lots of cutting.
