Not what I expected
When I bought this diablo router bit I expected a high quality and long lasting bit. But only after a few cuts in plywood the carbide on the tip of both cutters chipped and started burning the wood. Then the setscrew holding on the ball bearing fell out which made the nit completely useless. So not I am out $30 and stuck with this piece of junk.

    top bearing bit
collar that holds the bearing in place on both of my bits came loose and caused bearing and collar to move up and down but the 3/4" bit from another brand performed flawlessly like to add I'm a big fan of Freud

Hmmm... What HD is still showing appears to be a 1/2" bit with a 1/4" shaft. Somebody is using the radius of the bit (1/4"), not the diameter of the groove it cuts (1/2"). Most of the industry will call this a 1/2" bit. I do, and have been working with routers for a long time.

          NOT A 1/4" BIT
THIS IS A 1/2 " BIT with 1/4 " shaft (look at the picture the shank/shaft should be the same size as the bit- it is NOT). I ordered one and got a 1/2" bit. I think the confusion comes from the packaging saying 1/4" on the front, but that refers to the shank/shaft size. The picture of the cut on the package clearly shows 1/2" cut but that is on the back or side of the package.
