Product Overview

Diablo's next generation 12 in. x 80 Tooth Fine Finish Carbide Circular Saw Blade features new laser-cut stabilizer vents for precise and clean cuts in a variety of wood materials. The advanced stabilizer vents feature a permanent filler baked in from top to bottom for absorbing noise and preventing sideways movement, allowing the blade to slice through wood cleanly, quickly and accurately. Constructed with TiCo Hi-Density special-blend carbide, Diablo's 12 in. fine finish blade produces precise cuts and provides 5X longer cutting life. The laser cut heat expansion slots allow the blade to expand and contract during use, keeping the cut true and straight. This blade is excellent for trim work and projects such as building bookcases, cabinets and shelving.
  • TiCo high-density carbide for increased performance and maximum cutting life
  • Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating for protection against heat, gumming and corrosion
  • Super-thin kerf design for fast and effortless cuts
  • New advanced laser-cut stabilizer vents absorb noise and vibration and prevent sideways movement for precise, clean cuts
  • Tri-metal shock resistant brazing to withstand extreme impact
  • Precision tensioning is a computer controlled process to keep the blade flat for a better quality finish

  • Laser cut heat expansion slots allow the blade to expand and contract without warping for straight and accurate cuts

Tooth broke and bent after about 8 cuts
I was using this to cut aluminum schluter jolly profiles and a tooth broke after about 8 small cuts, now it’s awful and won’t cut smoothly. Before cutting the profile, I tin snipped away the thin portion of the profile so these were really small cuts through soft aluminum. Very expensive blade that does not last

      Not a long lasting blade
I purchased this 60 tooth blade, for cutting stock, to build interior passage doors for closets, bedrooms, etc. i’ve been working with walnut, and oak . I took up woodworking during the lockdown, so this is a hobby for me, that is, the blade was not used very much. I chose this blade initially because the blade in my miter saw is also Diablo, and that works great. The edges are wavy, and not flat. My saw is not out of alignment and blade is 90° to the sole. I did email Diablo, about a month ago, no reply. The replacement blade is not a Diablo.

Great for the price and accurate enough for a homeowner's woodworking projects with a mid range or even higher accuracy requirements.

          Perfect for cutting flooring!!
I used this saw blade with my 10” miter saw mainly to cut vinyl flooring and was able to floor a 2000 square foot area without having to change the blade. Cutting was smooth and easy from the first to the last cut. I feel like in general this brand of blades last longer then most other brands I have used

Worked great for cutting down cellular blinds..
I bought this blade for the specific task of cutting down some cellular shades with aluminum head and foot rails. We replaced some bow windows and they were slightly smaller that the originals. Since the eight shades - 4 per window - were a couple of grand I thought I'd try and resize them before spending another pile of dough. I wasn't too sure about how it would turn out but I had nothing to lose since I would have to buy new ones anyway if this little project went south. I ended up taking about an inch off each shade. The blade cut the metal and blinds beautifully. What I didn't know was the footers had two 1/4 steel rods hidden in them to add weight to the footer. I missed hitting them on the first shade but was unpleasantly surprised when the blade kicked back on the second one when it hit the rods. It did cut through them with no damage to the blade, but if you're ever going to try something like this take a look to be sure there's nothing hiding in the aluminum channels. So the bottom line is the blade worked great and cut through some steel it wasn't designed to with no damage. I'm also planning on putting some laminate flooring in my office soon and this should prove ideal for that project too.
