        A:  I used it to cut/grind out a small stump/tree root. Took a bit of time but with a little digging and patience it worked well.

          A:  I haven’t but I wouldn’t try it it’s so rough it will take down a bead of weld you’d probably just set fire to the wood or burn it up badly. I’m no wood worker mind you but these are meant for metal.

            A:  It works great on wood, and the curved edge helps avoid sharp grooves. It does remove a lot of material quickly, so you need to be cautious.

                  The Diablo radiused flap wheel worked very well in blending welds on a carbon steel railing. I was using a die grinder before I found this wheel. The flap wheel was much faster and resulted in a much smoother finish. The wheel is holding up really well.

                  I had applied sanded porch stain on 2 porches, 8X12 and 4X6. It turned out to be a brand that was a complete disaster within a year or so by peeling, flaking and looking like it had cancer - what a horror story. I 1st tried scraping, a joke. Then I bought expensive stripper, another joke. I bought really low grit sanding pads and a new sander, strike 3. I was considering pulling all of the decking boards and replacing with a composite when I saw a video on the Diablo grinding pad. I went through one and ran to Home Depot for a 2nd one to finish the job. Now I need to remove paint that bubbled up and flaked in places on a concrete porch. The contractor's crew finally came back to "fix" it 2 days ago, but it's already bubbling again, so I'm tired of it looking like crud. I'm going to do a test patch to see how it goes.
