Tang broke after 10 cuts
Purchased the 9 inch version yesterday to cut screws joining deck boards and joists. I was initially very impressed with the product on how well it cut the screws but that impression quickly turned to disappointment as the blade jammed and the tang broke off. I thought being a demo saw blade it would have been a bit more robust in construction

I was using this blade to cut railroad ties. It worked wonderful, smooth cut. I cut 11 ties probably make 30 cuts. Many the last 2 cuts were a little slower but still a clean, straight cuts. I then ran 4-10' rebar to pin it down.

My standard blades lasted far longer
Really disappointed by these blades. Used them to cut up some pallets and withing the first pallet the carbide teeth started breaking off and by the end of the second pallet nearly all of the teeth in the center of the blade were gone. I had just finished cutting up 6 pallets with one standard none carbide tooth blade without losing any teeth and other than losing some speed on my cuts the blade was still doing its job, two pallets in on the carbide blade and its out of service. I think I will stick with the cheaper standard blades from now on.

DEMOLITION MAN'S BLADE
This is the definitive demolition blade that will cut through wood, wire, nails, metal, screws, pipe, just about anything. Nothing gets in its way. Cuts clean and cool. Stands up well to jab error bends without breaking. Can be mounted right side up or down for pull cuts. This blade will make short work of cutting through whatever you want. Thought the carbide tips could have stayed sharp longer but I did ask a lot of the blade.
I purchased this blade to cut out the window and door openings in a new building I was putting up. The blade was long enough to extend beyond the 2x4's and cutout the OSB sheathing with no problems. It worked well for my application and I expect it will a lot more work before I wear it out.

Great blade and smooth cut!!!
I am a woodworker who enjoys harvesting my own lumber and milling it on the tablesaw. Lately I have found a few white oak trees that have fallen and are about 6" in diameter.
I have been holding out on the reciprocating saw. Been using a bow pruning saw and muscle power. Though it's a great work out, the speed isn't very cost effective. I'm on a low budget and the pruning saw worked for a while.
So for my first experience with the recip and this blade I am now a believer. I wouldn't say my time perfecting my milling methods was waisted. I would say the blade and new saw speed up the process.
The blade, though not the fastest, cut right through the 6" white oak logs just fine. Left behind a smooth cut in the end grain. Perfect for a surface to seal and let the log dry for a week or two before milling. Mind the logs had fallen before the summer at least and had dried some already this year if not last year too.
I did accidentally run in into the dirt a couple times. Still sharp and cut great. With a little in and out action, the saw dust cleared just fine too. Otherwise it does bog slightly if you don't clear the dust frequently.
Highly recommend it.

Fine cut
I purposely got this 9 in. x 6/9 TPI Diablo Demo Demon Next Gen Carbide-Tipped Reciprocating Blade for Nail-Embedded Wood, not for cutting wood with nails, but for cutting branches off trees for the purpose of an easier method of pruning. This blade worked well, in fact it cut up to 5" log, with blade to spare. Cutting was a little slower than a chain saw, but with out all the fuss and noise of a chain saw. Great for pruning that occasional broken tree limb. Please take notice of the fine smooth cut. I think this would be great for craft persons making projects from tree branches.
