Composite Decking and Cellular PVC

Specially designed for cutting composite material, the 12 in. x 84-Tooth Diablo TrexBlade features Modified Triple Chip Grind tooth geometry for exceptional durability in cutting highly abrasive materials. Constructed with TiCo Hi-Density special-blend carbide, this durable blade is outfitted with 84 teeth to make smooth, finely finished cuts in deck boards, giving outdoor retreats a polished look. The Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating reduces drag while stabilizer vents absorb noise and vibration to keep the blade straight. An ultra-slim kerf produces a thin cut for less material removal and fast, effortless operation.
  • Freud TiCo high-density carbide is specially formulated to maximize cutting life in composite materials and plastics

  • Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating reduces drag and shields the blade against heat, gumming and corrosion
  • Super-thin kerf provides fast, clean cuts with minimal material removal, ideal for underpowered saws on a job site

The blade was used to cut screen rail using a low cost miter saw. Neat miter cuts of the thin metal profiles could be attained by moving the blade very slowly through the pieces, but given the cross section of the rails they still cut quickly. Impatience caused the thin profiles to bend and left burrs.

Yeah there's nothing because I cut all the bushes. The blade really did the job. It cut smoothly and precise. It was like cutting butter. Great product and quality.

Don’t use on bamboo engineered flooring
Took it back after three test cuts using a brand new DeWalt miter saw. Even when going slow on bamboo engineered flooring it rips and jars the fibers from the board. Yes I waited until the motor was at nominal speed. For $99 bucks I expect a clean cut

I used this blade to cut 3/8 inch mild steel with my circular saw. I was very impressed with the way it cut through steel as easily as if it were wood. Very true cuts with very little in the way of ragged edges left behind. I highly recommend the Diablo for cutting mild steel.

    Success Under Harsh Conditions
I bought this blade as an experiment. I need to section up a piece of 2” thick mild steel and figured I would give this a shot to see how far it gets. Using it in a 2.5HP Skil saw I was able to get 3” or 4” into the cut before it started losing traction. Considering it is billed as a blade for 1/4” thick steel I’d say it was a good success. Once the blade cools down I’ll give it another go.

Love this blade - Use it for my circular saw and Miter saw.
I always used to buy cheap blades and throw them away but after using one of these i will never go back to the cheap blades, I'll just wait until these go on sale here and there. I have the Kobalt 7-1/4 sliding miter saw and i used this blade on it... using the stock blade it was OK and cut fine but with this blade it cuts sooooo smooth it's ridiculous.
