The COMM11000 MaxCool Pump is UL classified for safety and designed for use in 115-Volt evaporative coolers rated up to 11,000 CFM of air delivery. This pump also features a low-level design to ensure normal operation even if the cooler's water level drops to as low as 1/2 inch. the powerful dual coil concentric motor pumps 440 Gal. per hour at a head height of 1-foot.

For use with all brands of commercial roof-top and window-mount coolers
Motor has thermal overload protection and a flame-retardant housing for safety
Grounded plug for quick and secure connection to the cooler's junction box
Removable base plate for easy removal of debris

A: The 11000 pump would be overkill. The Dial UL5500 #1150 should be adequate for this cooler. The Dial UL7500 #1175 would work as well.

A: The 11000 pump is generally used for commercial coolers and is a little overkill for the 3000DD cooler. It will work but will pump a lot more water than needed. The best option would be either the UL5500 (#1150) or UL7500 (#1175) pump. The UL5500 pump is what Champion used to put into their 3000DD coolers.

A: No. That is an 11000 cfm pump. The compatible pump you need is the Dial 5500, part number 1150.

A: It is compatible but may cause water to go places that it’s not designed to go due to the volume being doubled.

Will last one year if you are using screen.

It will last one year if you are using a screen. I have been through two so far and I lube them, getting one more today.
